WANTED Z4 E85 2007 2.0i Catalytic Converter

Good afternoon
I have an issue with a fault Code P0420 reference Cat system below threshold
Spoke to Independent BMW service centre who have advised a replacement catalytic converter is needed.
Has anyone got one for sale or know where I would get a new / used part

I can’t believe how difficult it is to find a replacement

Have you tried eBay and BM scrap yards?

There are quite a few on here that break Z4s, your advert has only been on here a few days. Have patience one of them might see it soon.

Cats on the 2.0l are built into the exhaust manifold they are prone to developing cracks and leak giving an exhaust blow and upsetting the exhaust sensors. New from BMW are in excess of 1k so used is the way to go if you can find a good one that hasn't cracked. It's a pain to strip out the exhaust down pipe studs are very hard to undo and get out. I replaced mine with stainless bolts
