Hi guys
I am considering selling my much loved E85 z4.
I purchased it on March this year for £5290.
The car is the M Sport model with the 2.5 si straight six, developing 218bhp. Finished in a beautiful black, I believe it's Sapphire black, with red leather interior. In my opinion, it's one of the best colour combos. Mileage is currently 74500.
Two weeks ago I had a pioneer sph-10bt radio fitted. I'm not a fan of the aftermarket look, but I purchased it for it's functionality (streaming audio, making calls, navigation etc) and for that reason it was money well spent. I have retained the original unit, including a Parrot mki9100 which can easily be reinstalled.
The car has a full service history, with the last one being carried out on March this year by a BMW specialist here in Glasgow. The MOT was also done on the same day.
I am the fourth owner on the V5. It is fully HPI clear.
Everything works perfectly on the car, the roof goes up and down, quickly and smoothly. The gear changes are nice and positive. I try and keep the car in the garage as much as possible. Where it is hooked up to an optimate battery charger, if not going to be used for a few days.
Other than the radio, the only modifications I've carried out are to change the aerial to a stubby and change the number plate lights to LED. I changed the units, not the bulbs. If I were keeping the car I would have the alloys reconditioned.
The only reason I am thinking of selling it is due to my grandad passing away recently. He has left me three of his cars. I'm now the owner of a Range Rover Vouge, Mercedes CLS, and an old BMW 850. I don't need, nor can I afford to keep four cars. So at least two of them have to go.
I'm definitely keeping the Range Rover as it was his pride and joy. But the others will most likely go in time.
If anyone is interested please get in touch. I will post some pictures of the Z once I've gave it a wash.
Cheers
Will
