The idea of this thread is we all list a couple of products you would not be without....

Here are mine

1. Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care - great for engine bay vinyl
2. Dodo juice purple haze wax for dark cars- a panel pot will last ages
3. Dodo juice Tropical Red Mist detailing spray - for adding a little shine back between waxes

Looking for a a good wheel cleaner tried heaps - going to try AM Detail Wheel Cleaner
 
1. Chemical Guys Wheel Guard - high gloss protection
2. Meguiars Detailer . All purpose cleaner
3. Dodo Juice Rain Forest wax
4. Meguiars gold class car wash
5. Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel - gives a long lasting high gloss shine with minimum fly off.
 
Poorboys Black hole for polishing and filling light swirls on a dark car

x2 for Megs Quick Detailer

Dodo Juice Lime Prime for pre-wax prep when not polishing with something more serious.

Looking for a decent starters clay set for when I have some time to really go at the car - is Megs a good place to start ?

I bought Meguiars Quik Clay as it had been recommended by other members, it did the job for me :thumbsup:

Dodo juice born slippy and a non aggressive clay
 
Another vote for

1. Dodo Juice tropical red mist
2. Dodo juice born to be mild shampoo

Currently out of both of them and have been using

3. Autobrite Project 32
4. Autobrite Banana gloss shampoo

Which have been just as good. :thumbsup: Also using

5. Autobrite Very cherry wheel cleaner
6. Autobrite The Abyss paint sealant.
7. Autobrite Repel windscreen repellant
8. Meguiars tyre endurance gel

Other than your teeth, what's the Colgate for?

The light abrasion works wonders in removing any light clouding that occurs on headlights.

I use...

Megs wheel cleaner, apc and waxes (cheaper by the gallon although its US lol)
Megs metal polish for the exhaust
Auto gleam for the wheel protector
Simon ex tyre foam
Dry clean products for the carpets

Leather care depending on what's needed....

Cotton buds & Loads of clean towels :-)
 
Megs #62 shampoo.
Lambs wool mitt.
2 big buckets, both armed with grit guards!
AG intensive tar remover, I find it massively more effective than Megs.

The shampoo is sooo slippy, you can really feel the mitt gliding across the paint.
