Z4 dent

I got a used 2011 Z4 in Alpine White and on the side underneath the S drive 30i logo had a small dent so I called a place to take out the dent and they slid this metal rod behind the metal and poked out the den but he made one wrong movement and sort of slid the rod making a scratch from the behind and it poked out, he tried hammering it back in from the front but he didn't do it too well, is there a way to fix this?

Sounds like they weren't very good... another PDR company might be able to help assuming they didn't damage the paint finish. if you watch any of the PDR videos on the web you can see them use a tool to flatten the high spots. I hope they didn't charge you anything if they made a mess of it - and they should be fixing it rather than you having to sort this out..

Small dents are always fixable. Just a matter of time and money. A picture or two would help with the feedback. Hope you did not pay for the first attempt and if that guy is not confident/compitant, then I agree get another company in a tell the first to sling their hook.

I also have small dent's like that, no damage to the paint, but it's a dent, usually from the parking lot, as Z4 is very soft (I thought Miata had a soft body, but Z4 also), so I am also planning to go to PDR specialist, as they have the technology for small dents. They save my friend's car after the really nasty storm with ice falling from the sky.

Someone reversed into my Zed. Broke the clips on bumper for the grille, marked the bit between grilles.
Bloody annoying a visitor at work waiting at barrier, hand on phone and truck in reverse.
So i pulled back to let him reverse. Didn't, so i pulled forward slightly, to get out and use my pass card. Sure enough he then decided to reverse into front of my car.

I took my Z to a 3 day conference (should of taken one of the other cars but the weather was nice) a few years ago, parked it up next to a bay for electric cars. The logic being the bays were wider and also I though that electric car owners were probably more considerate. Yep thats that logic out the window, they still managed to open a door onto my door and leave a dent and drive off! Luckily I know a paint-less dent guy and he eventually managed to press it back out and you would never know, at a cost of £70. From memory the wings (like the bonnet and roof) on the E89 are aluminium.
