Z4 dct trans

I am after some help advise on dct 7 speed
I was getting 5A53 flash up trans over heat avoid crawling message come up my car done 66k full bmw history on and off mostly when crawling in traffic
I went to zed shed for trans service oil /adaptions etc

Its also had new water pump and thermo

Its flashed back up again on idrive after 1000 miles left fault code 5A53 i have cleared it no clutch slip mike said car all spot on so looking for advice to cure this problem or a garage to sort the box out any help or cures is this electrical fault or is it in the trans it self or is it a fluke

I presume the DCT service had the oil and both filters changed? You would probably be better off giving Mike a call and seeing what he thinks. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
 
So in sequence of probability

Low oil level

Gearbox temp sensor faulty

Gearbox thermostat faulty

Needs real time code reading to see if temps are artificially jumping around
