Z4 Daily Driver?

So does anyone else use their Z as a DD?
The first week I was not so sure, was this the right decision for a DD, firm ride etc but now I just love it.

I cant think of a nicer way to spend 2 hours a day, cr*p weather and all. I have been out in Ice rink conditions and yup the TC light was on all the time but no real problems, standing water dispatched without a problem and the occasional dry day has been a nice bonus, with a spirited drive home.

I have done 3k in a month (although my normal month will be 1500 ish) the ride seems to have settled or I have adjusted, the economy is staggering considering a 3ltr petrol, and the gobs of torque make it all very easy to drive.

So it brings me back to the original question, anyone else use theirs as a DD? :driving:

Defo..........you might be dead tomorrow, live each day like it's your last because one day, it will be.

yes had mine 2 years and serves me well. Only downside is you cant put much in the boot to the tip.

use mine every day now, just love it. changed away from run flats and put 20mm/15mm spacers on it looks the dogs. just fitted a gap tech this afternoon. bring on the sunshine. :D :driving:

mine is my only car! used it every day for 2 years now! and she almost has 98k on the clock! pulls like a train as well!

At the moment every day, 60 mile commute. Do have a daily but I'm in the middle of wondering whether to bin it. Just don't like the idea of shoving 15-20 k onto the zed which had relatively low milage when I got it

Must admit, the drive in the zed is one of the few things that brightens up the day when it is so dark and damp getting to and from work.

I have to say I brought mine specifically for me to enjoy the 200mile commute.

Only time I haven't is while awaiting my gall bladder extraction and getting in and out was a problem.

Wouldn't be in anything else for my dd.

:D  :D  :D

Mind you, my E30 M3 was a daily drive as well :o imagine the amount of stick I got over that!!! [face? bothered? ]

Enjoy............ :driving:

Yep 50 miles each day, love it....a little lumber support would be nice, but not complaining. I leave early to get the biggest parking bays lol

Not driven mine since mid December.I have my van for work so it doesn't really get used. That will change as the weather gets better and I'm also gonna get a bigger garage built to put her in. A future thread.

Use mine everyday to get to work an back i love it sometimes its hard to actually go home and not just carry on driving....

Use mine every time I need a car. Unfortunately for me there is no parking at work. And parking in Oxford is just so dear. So my DD is the s1 bus but my car has been through it all and handled it faultlessly.
