It’s a nice little car but up on the miles and has some blemishes and small amount of rust bubbles, wheels would benefit from a refurb but honestly it’s a nice little thing.

It has good service record with some reciepts and 13 stamps in the service book, has had a brand new luk clutch within the last 2 months alongside an oil change and an mot .

145,500 miles still in moderate use so will rise, has had 2 replacement window regulators and a replacement waterpump.

Heated seats, cd/radio.

Steering wheel has wear on it, door card has a small hole where an arm has spent it’s life resting on it, small blemish on the rear boot lid, odd scuffs and chips around the car.

Drives well very little in the way of tramlining and here in Leeds we have some naff roads and it tracks well, on all surfaces, good power with smooth gear changes, no issues to report all electrics work, engine is as it should be, gearbox also.

No reverse sensors
No cruise
No multi cd
No folding mirrors


Cup holders work
Multi function steering wheel works
Heated seats work
Interior is good used condition


Any questions fire away but my aim is to give an honest appraisal of the car which in my opinion is nice but has miles on it so every component of the car has travelled a few miles but it drives well p, the bodywork is generally nice but has battle scars, tyres are matching on each axle, around 9 months mot, 13 service stamps with some receipts.



I am in the uk until around 8th September then I am away,when I am away possibly I can get someone to show the car.

Seven previous owners, no accident history, and nothing to worry about in the MOT history. Advisory items are usually fixed, so a very sound purchase for someone. The market at the moment is not good, perhaps a long-term advert in Autotrader can help to pull in the buyers from the other end of the country. Good luck and be patient!

It’s not the market, it’s the forum which is a rubbish place to sell cars, probably because nearly everyone has a Z4 already. Invest £80 in a full fat Autotrader advert and you should get plenty of interest at that price.

Bit harsh & not really true , many cars change hands through the forum , i sold the majority of my Zs through here & bought a good few too .
Simple facts are the market has cooled massively after 3 buoyant years & has simply returned to where its been before .
EG 5 yrs ago i bought a 122k montego blue coupe for circa £5500 through the forum :wink:
as ever the right cars at the right price will always sell no matter where they get listed .

To be fair I sold both my first 2 E86s through the forum, and found my current one on here too.

It only needs to get spotted by someone looking for a cheap Coupe.

The mileage wouldn't put me off. I sold an E91 on 139K in 2019 and replaced it with an E90 330i that has now done 122K, both with the N52 engine, and they performed fine.

It’s just my experience. I reckon the forum is great place to buy a Z4, but a very limited market for selling.
 
It’s both. This Forum does not have a large reach like Auto trader eBay etc. Also as mentioned above the market is on a cool down now, and prices are going back to pre covid
 
I bought my E85 2.2 on here as a newby almost 2 years ago, I joined to buy, still have the car and love it. You need new members that join for the reason to buy cars because they know it's a good place to buy well looked after Z4s. At the moment the country is in a bad financial place, even the house market has collapsed, no money to 'waste' on weekend play cars. However you have a nice car at a really good price with a few bits that can be sorted by the new owner, so GLWTS. :thumbsup:

Not accurate at all mate, I sold 2 coupes through here and I also bought a coupe off here and have had many private interactions via this forum. Also many adverts are seen by non members and they then join to enquire with sellers, I have seen many new members make enquiries for cars as it’s a totally logical to go to an enthusiast forum for whatever you might want to buy and sell….good chance in the future I will buy a higher priced lower mileage coupe off this very forum as I am looking :thumbsup:

I thought it was a bargain as it was the cheapest available has a good service record, common faults fixed, brand new clutch, long mot, hpi clear, heated seats, two keys, it’s a great entry level coupe obviously not massively specked up but good grief £5500 for that …it’s on eBay 53 watchers but I don’t understand watchers they make me feel uneasy so I put the price up hoping to scare the buggers off…I’m away within 48 hours for the rest of the month so not fussed as it’s too late to sell it now and been honest I have enjoyed a few little drives out this last few days and I sold one of my motorcycles yesterday that balances the books a bit, I am looking into a new van though and that might force my hand a bit.
