Z4 Coupe Valuation / Selling Advice?

Hi Everybody!

I am ofcourse a lurker, but glad to say this forum was intrumental and invaluable in helping me by my Z4 some 2.5 years ago. Unfortunately it's come the time where I need to at least strongly consider changing it, and I'd love some help again :P .

Long story short my commute has changed from a 30 minute walk to a 45 minute drive! I need something slightly more frugal and dare I say it, comfortable :cry: .

It looks like the Coupe has held up better than Roadsters price wise, anyone like to take a crack at my cars value?

2007 (07) E86 3.0si Coupe
84000 Miles
FSH (Mostly BMW)
Carbon Black paint (the best colour!)
Red leather interior
Piano black trim
107 Alloys
Xenons
Memory & Heated Seats
MSFW
Rear Parking Sensors
Extended Storage Pack

Overall condition is IMO very good. Alloys could do with a refurb but the bodywork is very tidy and the colour is not forgiving as you know!

I was thinking to maybe advertise at 9000-9500? I'm assuming options make the car still, and mine has IMO a very strong set aswell as the colour combo.
Thoughts? Ruminations?

Also a general enquiry, will it be a bitch to sell? When I bought it demand was very high and they would sell in days, I doubt this is still the case (even though fuel has dropped 20% since then!). Is it going to be weeks or months of AutoTrader and tyre kickers?

lol ok I'm out with my figures, mine is 2009 with less than 20k on it, I estimate its worth 11k

8k would be a quick sale
 
send me the reg and I'll do a valuation for you. How much service history does it have? Whens the next service due, tyre condition and general nicks and scratches?
 
If mint & with all docs £8k is low even on Flimper spec , £9500 would be optimistic but if you advertise at £9250 you should get between £8500/£9000
 
Got my car and it's got a cast iron warranty (no limit and for 12 months) with it, new tyres, all alloys refurbed, he spent £400 on recent service, and MOT. Dent in door pushed out, and an amazing detail too. And driving it today, for £10K, even though a small downwards move, I've got peace of mind with it

Not sure its a downwards move ? Just a different car to your previous 2 :?
From a style point of view its proving timeless & no reason why this will change anytime soon .
I would have another coupe without hesitation although i would have to set about losing the "crashy" ride by comparison to the Mroady :wink:
 
Wilks I think it's a little lower, as you notice things on a modern day car which you take for granted.....but I love it....very classic
 
I'd start at 9250 and see how it goes

It only takes one interested buyer with the cash - what do you have to loose?

Not a fair comparison though as the ££ is hardly the same :wink: neither is the depreciation :oops: :thumbsup:
