Z4 coupe teaser pic

Hi all,

Had the Z4 a while now and have spent more time getting it up to my meticulous standards than actually driving it!!!

Still got plenty of odds and sods jobs to do but thought I'd post a pic of the work in progress.

As it stands - Machine polished, Gtechniq trim restored, de-badged, BMW decals swapped for black and whites, black grill and alloys swapped from 108's to ellipsoids (refurbed in shadow crome with new non run-flat tyres).

Cheers for looking,
Hoz

Was just thinking the complete opposite, love the shadow chrome wheels, but thought how much nicer they would be on a roadster......

Not normally a fan of elipsoids for some reason, but they're absolutely stunning on a black coupe - good work!

Cheers all.

Wheels are very subjective. I read quite a few posts on here saying that ellipsoids do not suit the coupe but my opinion differed.

I didn't particularly like the 108's on the car when I purchased it and virtually everyone that's seen it pre and post says that it now looks much better.

I wanted a darker colour than silver for the wheels without going too dark (don't like black on black). The paint shop recommended the shadow crome and I paid an extra tenner a wheel for a 3rd coat which brings out the effect more.

I'm very happy with them but each to their own.

Looking good mate. Perfect colour.

Not 100% on ellipsoids on a coupe though :-?

Maybe it is simply because I have bever seen a set on the tin top before :)
