Z4 Coupe Style Hard Tops

Hi All,

I remember a long while ago someone linked a company that made Z4 Hard Tops for the Roadster that looked like the Coupe.

Im quite interedted in one and wondered if anyone remembered the company?

Ps I know a company that do the Cayman roof for the boxster but not the Z4.

I think it looks ugly IMHO.
 
Never yet come across a 'retrofit hardtop' that fits as well (and seals) as an OEM. You pays yer money.....
 
I'm mixed on that one. I like the curvier looks but there's just something not quite right on the proportions. Our coupes look right because the glass flows toward the tail--it's a hatchback not a notchback.

Thanks for that. I do actually like it but i guess you really need to see it in the flesh.

Have to say I like that more than the 'normal' hard top...but it looks like a photoshop, not a real product?

This is too upright and lumpy for me - I'd prefer just having the soft top:

I'm happy to be proved wrong, and CJ seems to have had contact with the manufacturer, but it looks like Photoshop to me, I bet they never actually made production.
 
Mmm looks like a PS to me too - this was in the original thread - I wonder if they've ever actually made any other than the prototypes?

I have a hardtop on mine and you need the space between the boot and rear window glass to get the boot open.
Indeed, there are a couple of washers / cams that fit onto pins on the boot openning mechanism to prevent the boot catching the rear glass
Something to look out for if buying second-hand....
