Z4 Coupe...practical for a road bike!..who knew???

Hey All,

I'm a new owner and loving the Z4, also love my bikes... was thinking i'd have to get a rear carrier, can't fit roofbars? don't fancy a tow bar...

but as i discovered last weekend...If you like your road biking, and you're worried about not fitting it in the Z4 coupe fear not! take the wheels off, it fits like a glove!

:D :D :D

What size frame do you have, im currently thinking roof racks for my mountain bike but it's nice that I can put my road bike in the boot

a roof rack on a z4

Lots of posts on here on the subject, but yours does look very neat (I'd not want to put a dirty mtb in the back for instance!)

Less likely to happen in an MC as the battery buggers your available space.

Thanks for posting this. Worth investing in a couple of wheel bags.

Ignore the sarcasm from previous poster. This is good information.

I have a Z4MC and two Pinarello's.

Just about get a couple of bromptons in my roadster :P
Regards

I'm impressed with two folders in a roadster. I usually put mine in when it's service time and I can cycle back from the garage.

hehe, it's quite a nice bike, and yep recommend wheel bags and padding out with clothes, point being i never expected it to be so easy. probably fits in the Roadster? this is a 54cm frame, would fit another size up, pull the saddle pin out too.

i guess the mtb would fit as well? 29er might struggle, you probably want to line it with a tarp if muddy.

Lol, ive now got a picture in my head of me trying to fit my mountain bike in a coupe, there is zero chance as it makes my road bike look tiny
