Z4 Coupe Passanger Airbag Deactivation

I'm looking at buying a Z4 coupe as a car for the summer due to having some spare money available for the next 6-9 months. Our first baby is due next month and whilst I have an Audi A4 avant which will be our main family car still for baby and dog, I wondered if it would be possible to use the Z4 at all with the baby which would mean that the front passanger airbag would need to be deactivated - Is this an option that all Coupes had or only on those spec'd with ISOFIX fittings?

Good question Rudders. I recently bought a Z4M where the ISOfix wasnt specified. Also this meant no deactivation key slot on the end of the passenger side of the dash. Im pretty sure it's the same story with the 3.0 coupe which I assume you have? Well worth it imo if your planning to transport young ones!

I believe it's option on a few cars as my 3.0 coupe has it ( and the isofix seat) but I can't think of any others I have seen with it.

Hi,
My E86 also has the ISOFIX and airbag deactivation. It didn't appear as a specific option on the build sheet, so I'm not sure if it is listed as part of another of the options codes or is standard on the 3.0. Interesting to hear it is not standard on all models.

The boot is large enough for a baby seat in any case! And yes that is a joke - no babies in the boot recommended.
