Z4 Coupe Newbie in Herts

Welcome,

I also came from an Elise which I had for 4 years, and I agree they are different cars! the Z is alot more practical but still delivers the performance when required. I have taken on local corners at the same speed as I did in the Elise and have been impressed with the ability of the Z, although the steering will never match the feedback from the Lotus, but hey the Elise is basically a track car for the road. I have read reviews saying the ride of the Z is to harsh  , they obviously did not come from an Elise.

Nice wheels enjoy

Lovely car

Lamp that is a shameless attempt in bumping up your posts by welcoming twice on the same post  :poke:

Ahhh, stubby arrived in the post and fitted. Looks great and the reception on my 160 mile round trip on Friday was fine. Thanks for the recommendation, love it  So.... next mod would be?

I did a driving 'experience' at Thruxton in an exige, and absolutely LOVED it. the grip and response was just insane. I got into my car at the end of the day and it felt like a wet sponge in comparison. E92 Msport 330Ci which always felt sporty to me before. Put things in perspective. I'd love an exige/elise dedicated to trackdays once I win the lottery. Don't think I could live with it day to day though.

Get the Exige 260 Cup, complete madness and huge fun. Not a lot of them around though and can be pricey. Easier to find the Exige S with a performance pack that gives you 240bhp and a weight of under 1 ton .... mad fun! Compared to the Z though it is very harsh day to day driving. You do get used to it but I must say the Z is a much nicer place to be in driving day to day.
