Z4 Coupe in Phoenix Yellow

Where are we at with this? Has everyone gotten lucky? Its been a while...

I managed to track down my old Phoenix Yellow coupe which has been off the road and parked up for two years. A bit of FB detective work got me there in the end. A neighbour of the owner got in contact with me and via the reg, confirmed they knew where mine was.
They have passed my details to the owner about two weeks ago, they were toying with selling but I haven’t heard anything………

Gutted.

Did MonsterZ4 manage to but his old car back and did pi1010 manage to get one I am wondering?

I’m still trying. The owner knows who I am and where I am if he does ever sell. For now it’s sitting there deteriorating.

So should I or shouldn’t I? 60k miles

Would you pay £12k ?

That looks fantastic.

And it's certainly rare as it looks like only four manual Coupes with that colour combination and interior trim were registered in the UK, and only one had Xenon headlights but not heated seats so it's unique!

60K is really low mileage especially as the N52 engine is pretty bulletproof.

£12K isn't outrageous especially as it looks like it's being sold by a trader, so at the end of the day it just depends how much you want it.

Thank you. It’s a private sale and I thought I may make an offer on it. It’s about as clean as it can be I think 👍

Well why not if you can get a deal, so good luck.

Xenons are a great option to have and it's got the MFSW, plus rear parking sensors I think although those aren't original BMW E86 wheels.

Hello Pal.
Where do you get those production numbers from? I’ve ready so many conflicting reports on how many PY coupes.
My old one had the two tone leather, leather dash, nav dash and xenon lights. I’m pretty sure from others on here that it was a ‘unicorn’ car, a proper one-off.

Well I do seem to spend a lot of time on here and I love E86s!

But most of that information is thanks to another forum member who compiled a database of all 3.0Si and M models back when free VIN decoders were readily available.

Here's a link to it if you want to pass some time:- http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/
