Z4 Coupe for sale 58 plate £7k

Newbie on forum….have been reading some comments and am a little lost about “ shame about the 100k+ miles ”. Seems to be a very British thought...why?

Having lived across the waters in Northern Spain, cars of ten years or so normally will have covered 250,000+ kms, I know, have one..

The engines on these Z4’s are fantastic, 100k miles is nothing, have seen many in Europe for sale with 250k+ kms and have seen a few with close to 400k kms!

So, where did this idea come from about 100k miles being too high? Can understand if it was a car from the old days...100k was a lot!, but not with the design of “ modern” engines.

Personally I always buy cars that have been well looked after and used... 107k miles?? Its nada! This car looks spot on! I will be in the market for a coupe late July/August when I return to England and this is the type of car I’d go and view….all things being well and the CV-19 is under control

Take care.

Hi James,

I'm interested in this! I'm not able to PM you, would it be possible for you to drop me a PM please so we can have a chat?

Thanks,

Will

A complete common sense post well said my man.

Some bikers see 10,000 miles as the end of the world too ....madness the things are not even run in...on the upside it leaves a few bargains about.
Take care.

I’m able to sell now the showrooms are open. PM me if interested, if I find something I like in the meantime I will trade in

It’s very much a British thing, most probably started by the secondhand car dealers! I recently bought a coupe with £165k, it’s in lovely condition, FSH, all major jobs done within the last 5k and the compression on all 6 cylinders is spot on, oh and she pulls like a monster!! I drove one before that had 90k on it and it was an absolute dog! Personally I’d buy on condition rather than mileage - just my two pence worth.

naz, Cruise is probably the easiest option to retro-fit!

And if you make a 3rd post you'll be able to PM the OP.

I’m lurking and looking for the right car, I wonder if this has the aux port? I can’t seem to work out the pattern as to which do and don’t.

Welcome to the forum BTW Weathersbubble.

I'd be amazed if a 58 plate didn't have the aux-in socket.

My 1st Z4 was built in October 2006 and had it, my current one was also built in October 2006 and has it.

My 2nd one was built on 18 September 2006 and didn't, until I found it had been retro-fitted in the glove-box rather than the bottom of the dashboard (after about 6 months of ownership)!

And to be fair I think it's a pretty easy retro-fit if you go to a site like this:- https://www.bing.com/shop?q=fruity+cables+aux+in+bmw&FORM=SHOPPA&originIGUID=F5CD6C6CC86D4DB68D45B837ED57CE23

My car is a fairy early June 2006 model which had cruise control retrofitted and also has an AUX. Based on what I've read now I suspect the latter is also retro-fitted. You couldn't tell the difference and from looking at kits, they are both very cheap mods to do so if you're in the market for a car like this then I wouldn't let this worry you. If you're more into bluetooth there are a number of mods you can do but they can be a bit more involved. I just fitted a GROM BT3 to mine after 3 years of ownership and I don't think the AUX will have much more use now!

Car looks great OP, can't imagine this will hang around long
