ye, outer parts chrome and inner it standard silver

previous owner had a cheapo spray refurb and sanded the bolt edges, no point having them back on wouldnt look right

so 130 quid on bolts alone :/

yer plan is to do wheels , and whilst there off do the callipers

duno what to go for

That's exactly what I did while sealing my wheels.

I popped down to halfords and bought red calliper paint and Matt black engine paint. £20 in total.

Taped off the various parts and used a soft artists brush. The brush you'd get with that kit won't give you a good enough finish

ye i just wish garage was wide enough so i could get both wheels off at once or them all lol

how did you go about doing the metal clips , do they clean up well? and did you paint them left on?

Sprayed the bolts too as they were rusting

Red callipers really set the wheels off

I did the rear callipers outside the garage as it was a warm day, doesn't take long. I made sure I gave the arches a deep clean and a layer of protection too. Gave all the callipers about 4 layers of paint (paint in the same direction)

Nothing worse than a great set of alloys then rusty callipers and hubs spoiling the look of the car.
