Z4 Coupe (E86) wanted

Hi All

I'm trying to source a good quality Z4 coupe (E86) - have been scouring the usual autotrader / classics websites / gumtree / e-bay but am struggling to find a good example with the spec I'm after in the right price bracket. Thought I would post on here and get a sense if there are any enthusiasts who are considering selling up..

I'm based in Edinburgh - Sport manual model is a must and would prefer Silver / Black with light or black interior (sorry no Red!). Would't rule out grey but fancy a change having previously had a gun metal 370Z. Cash purchase and will be asking the inevitable questions around service history etc

Silver and black seem to be the most common colours available which should in theory make your search easier.

It looks like you are both looking for an E86 - keep searching, it's definitely worth it!

Anyway from numbers provided by Taz some time ago it looks like less than 2,000 3 litre Sport models were registered in the UK, so when you start to focus on a manual and specific colours you may need some patience. :lol:

I didn't want a black one, but got impatient looking for my first and decided Ruby Black was different enough to justify going for it (plus I liked the Pearl Grey interior) and I'm glad I did!

But black and silver aren't rare colours, so the OP should be OK so long as he is willing to travel - I don't think there will be loads of manual Sport models North of the border!

i just picked up a nice e86 similar spec to what your looking for, drove to Cardiff for it as there's not to many up here. Good luck with the search!

I'm a long way from you (Herts) but mine will be for sale in about 2 weeks, high spec but high mileage, fsh though. Pm if interested
