Z4 coupe buying advice

Hi gents,

Looking to purchase a sexy little car and narrowed the list down to a Z (350) or a Z (Z4). I'm looking to join the alliustrious Z4 coupe club, and looking for a buyers guide and some advice. Unfortunately the only relatively local one is around 70 miles away and is a SE spec. Can't stretch to an M before you ask :lol:

so, what should I look out for?
Car is up at 10k, what will I realistically be able to negotiate off, any tips?
Does the Z only drink super unleaded or is normal unleaded ok?

Any advice appreciated.

We might as well get the "get a roadster" out of the way :)

10-15% is normally a good opening gambit depending upon if you're talking to a main dealer, indie or private seller.

What I would say is, get a spec list download (PM me if you like I'll email it to you). Sort out what spec you want and go hunting. Be patient and stick to your spec. Look for cars with good history and condition and haggle. Being a coupe there arnt too many and its getting to spring so bare that in mind.

I wouldnt say so but I think there are more buyers looming in the spring.. I bought mine in Feb after 2.5 months of negotiation from a BMW dealer. I know for a fact that not one other person was seriously interested in the car, partly down to time of year, partly to price (£1500 overpriced in my opinion) and partly due to location..

Keep your eyes peeled!
