Z4 Coupe....a few questions...

Hi,

I'm in the process of trying to locate/buy a Z4 Coupe and I have a few questions for those in the know...

Firstly could anyone point me in the direction of a link, if it exists, of all the things that you need to know about the Z4 Coupe, containing all the pointers that you need to look out for when purchasing one?

Secondly, my budget of £15000 is looking like it will get me a decent low mileage 56/07 plate example, I am wondering if the Z4M 18" alloys will fit straight onto the standard Z4 Si SE model without modification, I'm guessing they do but clarification would be helpful? Alternatively can anyone post pics up of a Z4 Coupe with some 19" alloys, possibly some CSL wheels?

Finally, could anyone tell me where is the best place online to buy modification parts, such as exhausts, exterior/interior modifications?

Now thats a good buy if you want a Coupe bud... An 'M' and that price :wink:
 
And the obvious question about a Z4 coupe....................................................................... "why?"

I have read the FAQ thread by a lad called Andy on here that was useful, also found the AlanJ link....it appears that the Z is pretty much bulletproof.

Other than issues from the rear springs around the 40k mark I haven't really read any further issues.....unless i've missed something?

I'm presuming the service intervals are once per year or every 10000 miles or so?

Can anyone tell me of the general service costs and what the service schedule is on the 3.0l coupe?


The service/tax/insurance costs of the M are far greater than the 3.0l....if it weren't for those things I'd have one!
