Z4 coupe £4990

Spur of the moment decision due to a few reasons, I have owned it a year but only put on 1,500 miles or so.

Just passed mot with 3 advisories.

147,800 miles
Heated seats
Full mot
13 service stamps
Matching potenza tyres
Cup holders
Phone prep

Interior is in good condition just usual wear on drivers side
Small bit of damage to drivers side armrest
Rear n/s wheel arch small amount of rust bubbles
Wheels various scuffs would benefit from a refurb.
It’s due a service but the oil was changed a year ago and done 1,500 miles

Everything works as it should and I think it’s a lovely car that is admired by many, has had a replacement waterpump and window regulators were both replaced.

I work abroad from 20th June so if it’s not sold by then I’m not available for a while, not sure what the car is worth as it’s up on the miles and not perfect so I stuck it on eBay at £4990 for a hopefully swift sale where everyone is happy, I struggle to see why it isn’t worth that but we are in funny times, however I am not at this stage looking for offers as everyone wants £500 off the price in my experience.

I’m not giving up on z4 ownership I’m hoping to get an auto in the future as I much prefer that relaxed way of driving

I will get more recent pictures asap but it’s not a nice day here in Leeds

Car is in Leeds

That's a cheap manual Coupe for someone, and it's got heated M-Sport seats - GLWTS.

Thank you for the compliments, I am amazed it is still available, I must add I don’t want it to go and a motorbike is also for sale and if that goes I will keep the coupe as it is perfect for me as it is not low mileage or mint so I just use it and enjoy it as does my Mrs she really likes it despite having a TTS but I have a van to collect by end of the week, I do wish I had never seen the van as mine is fine but it has 279,000 miles on it as opposed to 73,000 so I know changing is sensible.

AutoAlex would probably have that. They love a cheap E86 on their YouTube Channel

Hiya will let you know if it’s still for sale as I am hoping my bike is going instead but the potential buyer is in the Netherlands and I would need to deliver it this week on my way to Slovenia, I will be away for a couple of weeks, I went out around town doing errands yesterday and enjoyed it a lot I’ll be gutted if it goes but I have to pay my van off asap within 4 weeks so I’ll do what is needed but yeah hope the bike goes

I think the market has completely flattened. A 64k mile auto coupe was advertised for 5k and apparently went for a decent bit less.

Where was that? Sounds very cheap! From what I can see it seems to be the higher mileage stuff hanging about

Definitely a good time to buy a coupe, if I had the money I would be seriously looking at a z4 m coupe at the moment, there is one in Oxford for sale in the bronze colour looks lovely at £20k

Have you advertised this elsewhere? The amount of potential buyers on this forum must be tiny. Members will either have what they want already, or will be holding out for their unicorn to come along. If it’s really cheap, you may get interest from someone looking for a project, or a breaker.

EBay / Autotrader / Facebook have massive exposure in comparison. True, the market is flat, but you may as well put it out there.
Or try a car buying site like Motorway. That will also tell you whether your car is as cheap as you think it is.

Anyway, GLWTS.

Cheers, to be fair I am so rarely here I end up spending on adverts and someone shows interest but I have gone abroad to work..then the interest is gone understandably , I sold my van a few days ago but it took forever mainly due to my availability, I do blow hot and cold too so yesterday I was adamant something costing me £70 a month just to sit doing nothing was silly and it definitely needs to go as I have just finally swapped into my newer van and it’s costing to get it work ready…I would definitely have sold the car yesterday and I feel the same now, but I am away to Spain at some point this next few days and bet someone shows interest but I’m not here so a free advert on here is probably better and plenty only join to buy a car or a part…I don’t know if it’s cheap as the market is not good but it’s a lovely car had a new clutch and service and looks stunning but let’s face it it’s not getting the endless interest a bargain would….appreciate your suggestions

Just for interest, the wbac valuation is £3200. As they are not realistic I think you would probably look more at 4500 if you wanted to sell it.

The z is staying…I’m happy about that as it’s going to get used every other week on a 30 mile a day commute by my partner
