For sale is my Z4 Coupe 3.0si which has been my absolute heart-throb for the last 8 months, which I still can’t get enough of every single time I jump in. The reason I’m selling is purely down to how my life has decided to pan out – work (a change in job role and the travel associated with the new job) being the main culprit, trying to buy a house the other :(

The car is Montego Blue, set off with the lovely Oregon leather and rare ‘Cirrus’ interior trim. It is fitted with 19” CSL replica’s of decent quality, the wheels are in good condition besides the passenger front, with only an inch of kerb rash, and the 2 rear alloys which have caught a stone each and created a small chip (all thanks to the concave shape no doubt!). The tyres still have plenty of tread (was never one to ‘test the limits’ so to speak!).

The windscreen and wipers are both brand new – I chipped the windscreen in December and had it replaced. The bodywork is in good condition, with nothing more than you’d expect from a nearly 10 year old car (the odd small stone chip). The only chip worth mentioning is on the drivers’ side skirt, picture will be available, and could be ‘smart repaired’ if you really wanted to. There are no scratches in the interior, and the leather has held up well. Everything works on the car exactly as it should.

The car is HPI clear. The mileage is 83,300. First Registered 29th September 2006. Originally specced with MV2’s. Original order configuration supplied with the car.

Main options are as follows:

Heated, Electric memory seats
Professional SatNav
Parking Distance Control, Rear
Bluetooth (original pairing information available)
Rain Sensor
Xenon headlights
6 CD Changer
HiFi Speaker System
Multi-function Steering Wheel

The car has a couple of modifications added by the previous owner, such as stubby aerial, the CSL replica alloys, an Aux input socket fitted, and an aftermarket backbox, of ‘ProFlow’ branding. This addition does effect the sound, which is wonderful. The sound does intrude the cabin a little, but only on acceleration – it’s not obnoxious, I use this car as a daily. It does ‘pop and bang’ on the overrun, but I’d describe it as more of a ‘poppy burble’ (not a technical term!). Both keys are present, one of which has a sporadic battery. I added a genuine ZHP Gearknob, with the original still available.

There is a full Service History available, with what I assume is every bit of paperwork ever associated with the car in a folder. The car indicates the next service due in just over 11,000 miles.

On top of normal servicing, the following is a snapshot of work that has been completed (Not an exhaustive list) – note some of the latest, half of which are elements of the ‘inspections’:

Mar 11 – Wipers junction box replaced & wiper motor rebuilt
Jan 12 – Coolant flush and change
Mar 13 – Wishbones, Wheel alignment
Sep 13 – New Rear Coil Springs, new RH rear anti roll bar link
Jan 14 – Oil Filter, Air Filter, Micro Filter
July 14 – New Rear Suspension arm bushes
Sep 14 – New handbrake shoes
Jun 15 – Air Filter
Aug 15 – Brake fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid, new spark plugs, handbrake clean/adjust, new fan belt
Feb 16 – New waterpump + thermostat, new coolant, New Brembo brake discs and OEM pads

Always run on premium fuel - either BP Ultimate or Shell Nitro+ - I myself have managed to average 33mpg (calculated, not OBC) as a daily drive, which I still find astonishing, all considered. Never driven hard from cold, always given 10+ miles to warm up properly. Two common problems – the rear coil springs and waterpump – have already been sorted, so the new owner needn’t worry about those. As you can see from the list above, this car wants for nothing.

The only small niggle I am aware of is the starter motor, which makes a short sound when starting up after a freezing cold night. In warmer weather, or if the car has already been started, there is no sound. This doesn’t affect the car in any way whatsoever.

I am advertising the car at ' ' ono, and am offering it on the Z4-Forum prior to ‘publicly’ advertising, so to speak. I’m in no particular rush to sell, and as such the mileage may slightly increase. I am located near Wallingford, Oxfordshire should anyone wish to come view the car. I am available most days after 4pm, and much more flexible Friday through Sunday.

I’ll add photo’s and maybe a video of the exhaust soon – I haven’t been getting home in time from work to take decent pictures in the light – but in the meantime, you can find some photo’s on my Instagram, which is ‘dselwood’, or some of my older forum posts -

Thanks for stopping by and having a read, I feel a bit gutted about it all really... but it's just the way life goes I guess. Sorry I was never overly active on the forum, was always a little shy and didn't manage to go to any Z4 specific meets! Was lovely to lurk and read through the forum all the same 8)

A few quick snaps I managed to get Thursday/Friday (when the weather wasn't dreadful). Please click the link in the first post to see a few better shots :)
