Good afternoon,

A friend of mine is looking to sell his Z4 (he isn't very good on a computer).

Could anyone give me a clue on what the current price of the following should be:

BMW Z4 Coupe 3.0si
01/09/2008
Hell rot Red (apparently rare)
Red leather with Piano interior trim
19" Wheels
114700 miles with service history
Re gassed aircon
New Battery
M Sport steering wheel
M Sport suspension.

Any guidance on price is much appreciated.

Friend has 100% decided to sell - asking price of £8750.

If interested call Mick on 07533 335332

Hi,

What's the service history with the car?

How long has your friend owned the car, has he had any work done to it (like springs, window regulators etc) Does he have the original wheels as those won't be to everyone's taste etc.

The above will help with pricing.

It has a full service history from BMW up to 2016 and specialist up to 2018.

How long has your friend owned the car, has he had any work done to it (like springs, window regulators etc) Does he have the original wheels as those won't be to everyone's taste etc.

He has owned the car for 4 years, only had new battery, aircon and normal maintenance. Original wheels are also available.

That's a lot of red! I think going on the current market I'd say £7500 - 9000, closer to the top end if the buyer specifically wants red and maintenance etc stacks up.

Looks like a nice example

Looks like a decent spec and great colour combo, also an N52K so that latest and greatest of the 3.0 in the Z. Wheels look superb to my eyes. As others have said, service history is going to be important at that mileage. If he doesn't want it hanging around I would probably go in around £7,950 and be prepared for a barter.

Here are a few examples for sale on autotrader

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202101017548896?sort=relevance&model=Z4&year-to=2021&make=BMW&body-type=Coupe&include-delivery-option=on&advertising-location=at_cars&transmission=Manual&postcode=sp47jt&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&radius=1500&page=1 (£8990)

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202012127034047?year-to=2021&sort=relevance&model=Z4&include-delivery-option=on&make=BMW&body-type=Coupe&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&transmission=Manual&postcode=sp47jt&advertising-location=at_cars&radius=1500&page=1 (£10,500)

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202010034557931?advertising-location=at_cars&sort=relevance&model=Z4&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&make=BMW&include-delivery-option=on&body-type=Coupe&year-to=2021&transmission=Manual&postcode=sp47jt&radius=1500&page=2 (£9495)

These do have lower mileage, but aren't the rare colour, I would say £7995 but he would expect to take less with a bit of bartering (like the others have said) if he actually wants to sell it, that would depend on a very good service history which would be needed with mileage of car, of course this is all in my humble opinion.

Also might be worth mentioning whether the original wheels come with it, you have a choice of which ones you’d like or whether it’s a different price with each set on it.

Also whether plate stays with the car or is being retained

I believe he said the buyer can chose which wheels they prefer.

The private plate will be retained by the current owner.

I would be buying it if I hadn't bought my 35i last year.

It seems to be a common problem just now.
