SO proud owner of the z4 coupe Alpine White - as kept by Dale. Won’t be long before it’ll make an appearance again.
Time now to plan an epic road trip to Europe somewhere...

Still looking to buy a z4 coupe 3.0 Si Sport Manual - unfortunately I missed out on a near perfect car - didn't realise how quickly it was going to snapped up (12 hours on AT)!

The must haves
Less than 80k miles (might consider less than 85k - if immaculate car)
Full service history (with stamped service book / or invoices to prove work)
Black engine cam cover (Usually from 07 plate onwards)
No modifications (or very light mod only)
Rust and dent free
Heated seats

Prefered car colour in following order
Metallic Grey
Titanium Silver

Preferred alloys (18inch preferred) in order of preference:
Z4M alloys in original colour
Apex EC7 or ARC 8 (must be 18's)
108’s in original colour
CSL (will consider 19s)
MV2 in original colours (as a last resort)

Preferred interior
Trim (any colour expect wood)
Leather - ideally all black, Ivory white or putty white, or Red)
Will not consider cream/champagne/tan interior

Would prefer major service items done and recent MOT (but not essential)

Ideally I want to pay 8k-9k. Can stretch to an absolute max of 9.8k - but has to tick every box on my preferences.

Alternatively will consider all Z4M coupes selling for 13k - but must have flawless service history / rust & dent free.
High mileage not a concern.

Welcome to the forum.

E86 Sport Manual is a great choice, but then I would say that I suppose! :)

Good luck finding the right one.

Edit - have you seen this one? https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=104754

Is this one of interest? Seems cheap, MOT history isn't too bad of late

Looks good, thanks man

Still looking, unfortunately the one car that I did find that was the spec I wanted and within budget got sold 4 hours of the ad getting posted. Been looking for 4 weeks now and still nada :(

If anyone else is thinking of selling there’s let me know. Spec required as posted.

Have you seen this one OP?

Looks like it meets most of your requirements!

Good luck anyway!

Yeh seen that one but not keen on bumper mod. Tbh I can go up to 9k, so I guess I just have to be patient..

Just thought I’d find something a lot quicker

The car I missed out on by a couple of hours :(

The advert has gone!

When I bought my current one 2 years ago it was just short of 78K miles, but I paid quite a bit more than your original budget. To get everything you might need to use a bit of contingency - good luck anyway.

Yeh my original budget is flexible, I’m cool with paying more, but then I’d want the spec to be a perfect match. There’s one on AutoTrader now but it has the earlier n52 engine and not the n52k - quite gutted. Anyway might give it another couple of weeks

Actually I can't detect any difference - my first Coupe had the later engine but my current one has the earlier version and they both provide the same entertainment! :)

Yeh I’m more curious about why bmw made the change to the engine even if it’s minor tweaks - like what’s the improvements in aid off? I’m unfortunately a bit of a stickler for the little details, and knowing that there’s a newer version of the engine will bug me. Had the car been closer to me, I’d defo would have gone checked it out

I know what you mean - sometimes once you get something into your mind you just can't ignore it!

Hope you find one soon.

Sounds like you're in the same predicament as me. I'm also looking for a low-mileage zed in specific condition/spec and I'm finding that you're going to need to commit to travel to get the right car. They're too rare to just hope the right one pops up within even 100 miles! I'm contemplating a drive from Ringwood to Wales and/or Leicester even to check out two I have on my shortlist.

Fortunately, we're not looking for exactly the same colour combinations... ;)

Nice, let me know what your looking for - may have come across something.
Yeh I’m not worried about the travel... as long as it’s in the uk, the travel will be worth it.
