Selling only due to the wife having our first child in 8 weeks, I've put it off for as long as I can. Honestly do not want to sell but our other car is a Mini Cooper S and that's not much use either. With a House move also going through I have no choice but to sell for something with 4 seats, otherwise I would try and keep it. Bought off this forum approx 18 months ago from a fellow member, I travelled to South London to view it and wasn't disappointed so bought it back that day

It might be worth adding the date of 1st registration given it's on a personal plate at present.

Thanks Mr T...It's a 2007 car and will be going back on the original plates if I get any interest...can't remember the first reg date but have a feeling it's a late one. Will amend when I get back from work in the morning

Actually the E86 pre-dates M-Sport as a trim level - E86s were either SE or Sport, and this car looks like one of the latter.

Sport models got a black headlining, M-Sport seats, M-Sport suspension and an M-Sport steering wheel! (Although all of those items were available as options on the SE)! :?

Good luck with the sale - I had zero interest in mine this year and others have commented how dead the market seems to be.

I don't think it is a good time of year to be selling what is essentially a "frivolous" car - everyone seems to be obsessed with Christmas now!

I always think if someone wants a certain car it'll sell whatever the time of year...just needs to be the right person at the right time though
I obviously want to sell due to the fact it's not practical but if it doesn't go I couldn't care less...I love this car so will just have to tell the wife 'At least I tried' I'd rather sell our Mini but for what we will get for it I couldn't get anything that I would want for the money. The Zed does seem to have a lot of interest on Ebay though and a couple of low offers but I'm not budging a deal on this one

I am going to sell my car , probably in the spring but I did put it in WBAC website and got a bit of a shock . I then asked the BMW dealer I bought it from and they offered me more than £2k more ! I may well still wait till next year but it shows they must be able to sell it if they are prepared to buy it .

Well I'm open to offers but some are just plain daft but cannot blame people for chancing their arm. As much as I don't want to sell I've got my eye on a MK7 Golf GTD at the moment so I wouldn't mind moving this on now
