Z4 convertible for sale

Dear All
It's been a while since I logged on due to work demands related to Covid 19.
I am reluctantly selling my 2007 Z4 which is in very good order, low mileage and full service history. Replaced 4 new tyres and lower suspension arms last year MOT and only covered a few hundred miles. Parked up off road most of 5 yr ownership, save last few years. I bought with only 25k but had to use the car for work over last couple of years as lost my company car. Has now covered about 40k (currently parked off road at friends). Inspection of interior will confirm low mileage, unblemished steering wheel, gear stick etc. Only problem is previous owner fitted a Parrot hand free where the cup holder should be.
Looking for £12,500 Ono. Will consider a boat in PX
Pictures to follow.
My number is 07729481274.
Thank you
Kola

Sorry failed to mention more details on my z4 :(
It's silver/grey with black leather interior. 3.0si msport manual. It is very very nice. Kept to runflats as I wanted to maintain to original spec.

Please see pics from 2018 further pics will be photoshot ones as my daughter was doing an advertising course and used my Z4 in a mock commercial. Shots were taken on the Snake Pass Derbyshire

I think you may have overpriced it, I have seen cheaper Z4M's and you can get a Z4 35i with 40k miles for the same money.

Sorry, but I’m not sure the glossy Photoshop images help as they’re clearly heavily processed, and buyers are looking for honest photos & description rather than glossy promo shots.

Bit more about the car, optional extras and service/maintenance history is probably worth more.

About £6.5 k overpriced.I think you need to take a look on eBay or Auto Trader to get an idea of what it's worth.

I don’t know much about 3.0 prices but you’re into ///MR territory there unfortunately, as has been mentioned I think you’ll need to rethink your price

Without question the most ambitious ask price ive seen in my 8yrs forum life
I would drop the "pro" pics ( even though they are pretty good ) & take some fresh ones (not on your drive ) showing front , rear , both sides , under bonnet & seats / trim , wheels etc .
Add a brief summary of spec + history & adjust your price to sub £10k .
Its a low miler , nice colour so if it is genuinely in mint condition requiring zero spend then £8500/£9k " could " be achieved if you have time to wait for that buyer who is prepared to pay for the favourable miles .
Good luck .

From the 2018 pics ,looks a nice example.
But price needs to be nearer £8.5 k to attract any interest .
Imho.

I mean this purely as a way to assist in your advert so please don’t feel I’m being rude but the advert is lazy.
Old photos, no mention or breakdown of service history. What’s the actual mileage? What’s the spec? Any unusual options?

If this car is as mint and well cared for as it says, then spend some time and produce a proper advert for sale. Look at autotrader for some more sensible pricing. If you’re going to ask top money, then you need the advert to match, to gather interest.

It’s a good looking car, it just needs some work to make it sellable. Good luck.

Given that the front suspension issues were apparently only highlighted when it failed the MOT test last year it might reassure purchasers to see what service history the car has.

Was it not checked / serviced pre test? Its a low miler so has it had annual services or just a couple of inspections? If its had annual oil changes etc then this would help justify the high end valuation.

I wouldn't be surprised if it has only been serviced 3 or 4 times in 13 years, please prove me wrong OP.

Dear All
Thank you for your comments, although painful, much appreciated. :(
I am away to Southampton this weekend, but will review advert on my return when I can break away from work.
However it is in beautiful condition and will be reduced in price and sold with a full MOT.
Thanks all
