Have the squeaky top issue on my 04. Just had the motor replaced and now have minor squeak.
Read the thread about modifying the manual release under the center console. But is there any other suggestions to fix.
Also there are 2 thin plastic pieces attached to both sides of frame mechanics. (4 in total) They seem to fit together when closed. What are they for and how can I replace them. One is missing.
Don't suggest returning to dealer, not happening....
