Made this yesterday. It was more about the idea of filming with a drone, but the clip's subject looks great so I thought of sharing with you guys here:

Nice. The tech seems to be almost at the point where you can have both good quality and good frame rate. Things can only get better :thumbsup:

Is this the drone that will follow you and circle you and even lead when programmed? Saw an advert video and the potential was brilliant - wondered if it would keep up with a Zed on a hoon - would make for an interesting video :thumbsup:

I can imagine the sky's full of these wondrous creations on December 26th. Then the law makers and do gooders will step in and you'll need a licence a 2k a year and a 3 year course at Miramar :lol: .

The main problem would be time, they can only stay up for just over 20 minutes.
Been toying with the idea of a Phantom Advanced for ages but at £800 its an expensive toy.
 
In this case the drone was manually flown by my friend on the right seat. It was his Phantom 3 Professional. I would very much like one, but regardless of the amazing 4k videos it takes, I can't justify the purchase just for fun.

That's the one - isn't that a fabulous piece of kit :thumbsup: Wonder how fast it can go and would it avoid tress and bridges etc when following the Zed? :lol:
