Z4 Charity Run (Map Added)

Zedward your very welcome to ride with Buzy in 8usy. I expect there will be plenty more down in the far SW but for sure I'm all ready planning the Lands End Photo shoot. :D 8) ...

A few important questions:..

Does Ted have Sun glasses and foul weather gear?

Does Ted get car sick with the roof up? Like car sick only with an e on the end.

Does Ted know how the Sat Nav works and could he Navigate, that would be handy on a trip like this. Plus he could show me.

Will he sit quietly and listed to Radio 1, if left in the Zed while I nip in to the local store for a paper and a pasty?

and finally....

If it's polite to ask a Teddy Bear their age How old is Zedward?

If its possible to accomodate two from Essex (nick_i) then i'd like to be involved.
After all, it looks like its got my name all over it

I will give Zedward a lift in any direction from Oxford. In a 100 mile radius.

Loving this idea.

Charity wise how's about a children's charity.

Ive got this image of you in your 1970s workshop overalls pulling up at a country pub in Oxfordshire with the bear in passenger seat & its making me laugh :P :D photos will be a must on this topic

I have siad overalls in both workshops. I do only use them for dirty jobs!! But if it will make you happy mate i will don them for the journey and get that picture for you. BUT...... As its for charity you will have to make a donation for it to happen

I think a bit of dressing up is required. Mr Wilks has sparked my imagination and has prompted me to think about this. But we should all suggest an outfit or dress up for another member and then donate £10 if they do it?

I'd be happy to meet someone outside of essex as I frequent Reading, and Kent. Then can bring Zedward to Essex.

Right, if we're going to do this someone will need to plot the route....

To help with this I've created a map - similar to the Forum Members map - Zedward Charity Relay Map

I suggest that anyone willing to take part add their location to to the map by adding a marker with their forum name (I've stuck Number 5 in at the Severn Bridge as the start point), then this will give a visual representation of people's locations and make planning the relay a simpler task

To add your marker
- Scroll/Zoom the map so you can see your home location
- From Additions menu at the top-left of the map, select 'Add Marker - Simple'
- In the window that pops-up put your forum name (optionally add your real name as well)
- Optionally select a marker colour from the drop-down
- Click on the 'Map Select a location' button
- The pop-up window will disappear and you then just click on your location on the map

Perhaps Taz can add this info to the first post?

If the requirement is open to 4 series convertibles, then count me in Taz as it's a fabulous concept

Nick I might need to do that as currently I'm the only one doing London....

This is taking off really well ! Also Well done Perry for creating the map. Excellent idea.

I plan to be hooning up through Wales on 1st April so we can drop him off anywhere there to get him going. Therefore that suggests its easiest to work him clockwise around the country, and I can pass him on to Zedwheels or Mr Tourette for starters ?

I'll get him a suitable BMW T-shirt printed before he starts ! (...and some clean pants!)

Yup, I'm on for this too, keep West Yorks represented. Adding myself to the map now.
