Z4 Car mats - differences...

Hi

Ive noticed there is a difference between the ///M and non-///M car mats.
The ///M ones has a kind of stripped effect going on - like when you mow the lawn (cant think of a better way of describing it!)
Whilst the non ///M versions dont - they are just plain velour

Can i just buy the ///M ones?
Saying that - ive seen some ///M mats without this stripped effect

ANyone shed any light?

BMW wont sell you them without an M VIN number, just like CSL wheels :poke:








only joking. Im sure they will fit.
My 2007 MC didnt have the striped effect.
 
I think you'll find the striped ones are just where people have hoovered/cleaned their cars - it's a standard detailing practice to make them look pretty :P

Haha like mmm-five says, it's when your cleaning the inside of the car, most of them also do this in the trunk. But i think you can order the ///m floormats, if you have the productnumber. I searched for it to, without any results...

This effect is created by steam cleaning / wet shampooing the mats with a wet & dry vac and hand attachment.
