Z4 buying advice

Looking at buying a Z4 for around 9K and want at least the 2.5L model. Found a nice grey one with 18 inch wheels, full BMW history and 58k on the clock in excellent condition for around this price. Is this an ok deal? What should I look out for when viewing Z4's? Any help would be appreciated

Look out for BMW (z4) specific things like bushes; no clunking, wandering at high speeds etc. Also check the hoods condition making sure it opens and shuts perfectly.

You have said what year and what extras. If you are paying 9K you could probably get a 3 litre at that price, its faster and you get the same mpg. I have a 03 3 litre and it is always fun to drive, the novelty of the acceleration still hasn't worn off.

Ok, i've found another one to go look at. This one is an 03 plate 3.0 litre with 42k on the clock in titanium silver with all the toys including satnav and parking sensors and full BMW service history.
Problem is it is a little out of my price range at £9995. Spoke to the salesman and he would take £9500 but wouldn't be able to factor in the wheel refurb he was planning (the split rim alloys are flaking badly).
This is one of the few dealers prepared to take my RX8 so i'm still tempted to have a look. Opinions anyone?
