Z4 BUSINESS NAVIGATION SYSTEM advice required

Hello' I'm retrofitting the business navigation system " the one with an inbuilt mon screen " I need some advice on the type of navigation computer and wiring that is required to complete the installation.

it's a fairly poor system in comparison, if you're going to the trouble of the retrofit, why not add a screen?

You need the MKIV anyway, which is the bulk of the expense.
 
yeah.. but the integration is lost too.. computer, stereo, bluetooth etc..

The wiring is still a fairly big job..
 
Thank's for the replies..... I have opted for this system as I'm not keen on cutting the dash! Also the radio was only 46 euros on German ebay.... so in my opinion, exellent value.
I was just after clarification on the type of computer, and wiring, as it seems very confusing, and I was not sure which I should be looking out for, as details of this system are hard to come by.
I have installed the radio, and connected it to another ebay bargain , BMW genuine ipod interface ,and in my opinion seems to offer far superior sound to that of the standard business radio that I had originally fitted.
I shall contact the dealer for the wires, and wait for the computer to turn up!

I have not seen one (not even in my facelift Z4 brochure). Any pictures? Is it similar to the one on E46 (square screen approx. 2"x2", only shows arrows as direction)?
 
honestly if you're going through all that effort then i would go for the screen too. the extra effort would pay more dividends. it looks MUCH nicer plus resale would be MUCH better.
