From my breif research I think that carsoft can read a hell of a lot but is unable to do writing to the ECU, I'm not certain on that at all so if someone can tell me I'm wrong i'd ve very happy. 
EDIT: Just had another look at Carsoft and remembered it was only the locking options you can change with it, you can't assign seat positions, climate control etc to the individual keys.
