Z4 bolt on hard top rear window replacement

Hi
I have a 2006 Z4 with a bolt on hard top. After some enthusiastic driving on a roughish bumpy road the rear window has smashed possibly from a bump shock or flex in the roof . The point is I need a new rear window; does anyone know if this is available or does it have to be a new roof module

Easiest way to find out is to put in a glass claim. Can't see why there won't be one available though.

I paid something like £120 for the replacement glass I needed (from Sytner) three years ago and called in an automotove glazier to fit if for IIRC £50.

At that price probably not worth a claim.

And... as I discovered when I broke my glass sunroof (some £360) on my old golf it was a "proper" claim not like for a windscreen that wouldn't affect NCB, the sunroof would (and did)

The fact that you broke it while on the car (assuming it was flex / impact and not a stone) then it tells me it's not correctly fitted.

The roof should be a clear 5mm off the bodywork at all points and thus negates and impact or flex.

I have pdf instructions if required

Thanks again to cj10jeeper for help when I installed my hard top.
Here are some roof alignment tools:

I chose the one on the right.

I popped my hardtop glass while wheeling it up the drive on its holster frame, was rushing to catch a holiday flight.

it was an expensive journey compared to the flight

Hi
I am looking for hardtop rear window for my Z4 e85 can’t anyone help or advise what I could use as alternative.
Have you tried a search on the forum? I'm pretty sure a few months ago there was mention of someone succesfully having a new window fitted to their hardtop as an insurance claim. Try the search function, I'm sure you'll come across the thread.
