Z4 Airbag Seat Sensor Error

Hi, having just gone through an EPS motor replacement and replaced all relevent fitments, I am getting an intermittent Airbag error message ('9895 Seat Occupancy Detector-or-Passenger Communications Fault'), I can clear it but it occasionally re-occurs. Can anyone enlighten me on these seat detectors and are they know to be troublesome, also, are there detectors in both passenger and drivers seats. Although my diagnostic unit (+C310) says passenger side, I am not sure whether the unit refers to LH or RH drive cars.

Occupancy sensor mat is inside passenger seat squab usual fault is broken wire in the mat caused by kneeling or standing on the seat.
