Hi All

I've found an individual Japan Red M3 so it's time to say bye to my 4th Z4, having owned a 3.0i, 3.0Si and Z4MR prior to this :D

This car has been a joy to own and has brought me many smiles!

Iphone pics below from when I bought the car, better ones will be uploaded ASAP (Steering wheel looks shiny due to flash)

Basic Bits:

- 2010 10 Plate
- 42300 Miles
- Full BMW & specialist service history - i've had an interim oil change done at my specialist 2 months ago as I like to change the oil every 6k regardless of the BMW schedule. The official trip computer says 10k till oil change due.
- Just had the rear pads done, fronts not due for 30k
- 12 Months MOT
- Washed & Waxed Weekly
- No issues at all
- Wheels aren't kerbed
- Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tyres

Spec:
- Space Grey Metallic Exterior - In excellent condition, i'm a hobby detailer, this car does not look 6 years old!
- Coral Red Interior - In excellent condition, minimal wear, leather is treated & protected regularly, again does not look 6 years old!

Options/Extras:
- LCI Paddles
- LCI ice white xenon bulbs (not the usual marmite yellow)
- Electric Folding Mirrors
- Adaptive Suspension
- Heated Steering Wheel
- Heated Seats
- Navigation System Professional, Idrive & USB Connectivity
- Lights Package
- Connectivity Package II
- Smokers Package
- Storage Compartment Package
- Front & Rear Park Distance Control (pdc)
- Cruise Control With Braking Function
- Headlight Washer System
- Windscreen With Grey Shade Band
- Bmw Teleservices, BMW Online, BMW Assist
- Business Audio with Bluetooth
- Wind Deflector
- Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror

The reason I bought this car over all the others that I viewed was because of the excellent condition the previous owner had kept it in, along with the host of optional extra's that the car offered.

I am posting this ad while at work but will add more detail later this evening.

Location: CV11 Nuneaton

Any Questions, just ask!

Tom

Surprised this hasn't gone, it's the cheapest 35iS!

Plenty of time wasters so far :headbang:

Its a whole lot of performance with a enviable list of extras but a tough marketplace at £22k ( private sale no warranty ) for what is a 6 yr old car that many would see as a weekend toy :(
Whether its worth what you want only time will tell & if you are getting "timewasters" have they been bidding you a price at all ?
You have to bear in mind that for half your ask there are 2010 45k 23i :o I appreciate you can't compare them directly like for like but is the spec + extra Oooomph worth twice the price :?
Happy to remove all above if you feel it detracts from the sale

It's a tough market ! I looked at selling mine private 2014 fully loaded 12k miles. The problem you have is finding someone with a hell of a lot spare cash laying around. Not many people will spend £20+ k on a used car. I ended up trading mine into the dealer got £27.5 k which I think is ok. They'll have it on the forecourt for £30k so saves me all the hassle.Have you looked at we buy any car ? I was shocked when I tried them for mine. Not bad at all.

I had a lot of messers when selling my 2010 35is... And it was £3500 cheaper than yours.

Mine took around 7 weeks to sell,Messers said it wasnt worth this and that even though mine was the cheapest for sale in the country.

Its not an easy market, many buyers, even people who know the Z4 dont "get" the 35is....

You just need the right buyer....

Thanks for your help guys, I remember your car Z4M, 67k miles & M4 wheels right?

It's now on autotrader too & price amended to £21,495 priced to sell :)

Yep,thats the one..

Be prepared for the calls that start " There are other 35i on for less money"...

I had one guy starting arguing with me as my car was priced too high.... he found one with indentical spec at £2000 cheaper.. When asked to provide a link it was to a 35i with 40k more miles...no nav,18" wheels etc etc etc...

Mind you he was from Leeds,so i had to be a bit forgiving..

Haha, the fun of selling a 35iS!

Now on autotrader: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201607316349973?atmobcid=soc4

I'd love it to remain a forum car!

Very best of luck in selling. I am about to dive into the selling game as well. Didn't like it the first time and never will :( . My first Zed went on AT but the time wasters were unbelievable. Still don't get what they get out of it!!

£27.5K is superb for a trade in I think but you're right about the £30 (++) on the forecourt. I wonder whether that was the case for sticking with BMW. Think I will fair worse with Porsche...

Anyway. I think your asking price is spot and I wouldn't budge much on it at all.

Good luck

Cheers JC :D

Saw this on autotrader - lovely car in the perfect colour combo.

I'm quite tempted but need to wait until I get a new contract at work towards the end of August :(

Hi Alex

She's a super example!

I've just waxed, SORN & garaged her so the miles aren't going up & she stays mint.

By all means if she's still here when the times right drop me a line, more than happy to take a holding deposit

Yeah definitely looks it! Basically what I'd order from the factory

Will do, appreciated.
