Well that's answered a question I had from another thread. :D

I spent a while looking for your car pictures but couldn't find them. I'd seen one you posted and thought it was V Orange. Now I know it's Red that answers my question.
 
Hi

Plus I went for most options ... just missed out on extended leather as the car already went to build so was to late. (the dealer was Fairfield based in Essex) always used them as they are independent family run

then I got a special allowance of £5121.01 from the dealer

which left £46,570

then I got £8000 deposit contribution from the dealer

which left £38,570.01

then my deposit contribution of £8000

left £30,570.01 ... which is £417 per month (48 months) APR 4.9% with GVF of £15319

Thank you for this post, I tend to agree I think I may have to stump some more cash up to keep the payments at £450. I am going to have a trawl around a few dealers over the weekend to see what I can get.

Thought the 35is was being discontinued ? Last July/August 2014 ! That was I was told last year when I ordered mine last March.

Well it was still available to order when I got mine mid October ... I said I thought the same and the salesman said they had not heard anything at all like that.
 
Hi guys I have done a deal on a Z4 sdrive 35iS. In the end went for mineral grey, coral leather, fineline wood, 326 wheels (as recommended on here), professional speakers and heated seats.

With a 2k deposit the monthlys are £520 and I am really happy with that.

The dealer is not sure on delivery period yet, has any one got any ideas please?

Really excited now and thank you for your help.

Delivery estimates seem to go all over the place in my experience. Probably be approx 3 months - worth the wait though :thumbsup:

Does anybody know if the 35iS comes with runflats or do I get the option of ordering normal tyres?

They all come with run flats and I think Kermits tried to get non run flats on his but they refused!

They all come with run flats and I think Kermits tried to get non run flats on his but they refused!

^^ This. You have to get RFT tyres. That said nearly brand new RFT tyres often can be sold at a higher price than the cost of replacement non-RFT tyres.
 
OK thanks for that. I know on some BMWs they can be a delete option. One final question please, does the 35iS need to run on the super unleaded petrol and will the engine need to be run in?

Run flats only AFAIK.

You could always check with your stealer but I'm pretty sure the factory wont change them - you might be able to do some sort of deal with them though ?
 
I ran mine of normal unleaded for a while with no problems - have since switched to super and haven't really noticed any difference.
 
ps - as you have gone for the heated seats you may as well tick the heated steering wheel option too - nothing worse than a hot bum and cold hands :D

I ticked that box :D 4 years ago I would have laughed at such an idea, but then my last 35i came with it and after using it for 3+ years you kind of get used to it. The better half loves it too. And it's a very cheap option.

Unleaded. I've owned many Z's and many M's. I've evaluated super and normal unleaded many times. For normal driving there is no difference and the car won't be damaged in any way using regular. If you are going the N'ring and fancy that you can beat the track record then the super will save you those extra tenths !

Run flats are much maligned. Sure, the car does feel better on normal tyres but the car still tramlines to some degree (big wide low profile tyres have that effect) and if you ever have a puncture then you will have plenty of time to reflect on your decision. And don't forget to tell your insurance company you changed them.

Heated seats? meh... heated steering wheel :driving:

RFT tyres? Both punctures I had involved rim destruction. Give me, at minimum, a space saver wheel please.
 
I run two non-rft 17 inchers flat for about 10 miles without damage to rims.
Got me home.
Not sure how a 19 inch rim would survive though.

With a 50;50 weight distribution and such a heavy car and only driver on-board, it probably balanced on three wheels taking the load of the first front flat.

How many Police, Camera, Action tv shows have you seen with some toe-rag driving for miles with a flat.
