I've had feedback that the 326 wheels are fragile - I've heard that a lot over the years, IMO a reputation earned when these 19" wheels were shod with semi solid run flat tyres from new.

But - they are the nicest looking, most expensive wheels available for e89 IMHO - I wouldn't want anything else.

I mitigated this by fitting non run flat tyres of the highest quality - these significantly improve the ride quality, but also make wheel damage much less likely.

The wheels are inspected every year at the MOT for cracks & damage - these were last confirmed good in Jan 2025 & no problems in 20k miles - I will arrange a fresh 12 month MOT prior to sale, or would entertain a deal that swapped wheels to something smaller in diameter if that is your preference.

Don't miss out just cos it has the best looking wheels :)

That looks stunning. Must be worth considering if you are looking for a long term keeper.

Looks lovely and pretty much identical to the November 2015, 35is which I owned a few years back. Reasonable ask and I agree with your sentiments regarding 326's, I swapped out the run flat Continentals for MPS 4's and it completely transformed the handling and gave added protection to the alloys. GLWTS

I saw this car in the metal when the owner did some coding for me on my previous E89 and it was fantastic, I’m sure it still is.

If I was in the market I’d be putting this top of my list.

Top chap too, I’d have no hesitation buying from him

Car is SOLD via the forum - thankyou all for the messages & interest, and thankyou to the forum for existing :)

It's a good place to be.

Congratulations, just update the first post to sold in the category thingy. 😊

I need something easier to live with in my old age 😊

Was dead set on a volvo xc90, but been offered a good deal on a 2022 porsche cayenne - so it's back to the dark side for a while.

I know what you mean - I'm hoping to hang on to my Z4 as long as possible!

A Cayenne should be a bit more fun than an XC90.

For those that haven't met me in real life - I'm kind of at the limit of what an e89 can squeeze in :)

6'2" and 16 stone, and getting old.

Watching me get in & out is apparently quite amusing, but to be honest, I've loved the car.

One of the few I've had in the past, then gone back to. Properly nice car.

Hopefully you weren’t nearly as bad as the video on YouTube where a Biggy Smalls look alike had to pretty much roll out of his maclaren at the “gas” station! 😆

So just want to say a big thanks to matsmith749 for a very smooth transaction. Had a day tinkering to get to know the car then, a nice 2 hour tootle to the Cotswolds where I work. Great car to drive. Made up!
