Z4 35i vs 35is exhaust pops and bangs

I was considering fitting the IS exhaust, but looking at the parts (18307647050 & 18307647055). They don't seem too different so I was wondering if anyone knew what the differences were?
Thanks :)
The only difference between the 35i and the 35iS exhausts are that the 35iS has far less perforations in the exhaust going through the box.

All you need to do is get a 35i exhaust and cut open both boxes and then sleeve over the perforations so that it is straight through and it will sound wonderful :)

It's a shame you can't get your hands on a Miltek system like whats on my 35i, it has all the pops and bangs you could ever wish for. It sounds ace when you get hard on the loud pedal but also is nice and quiet when driving normally with no droning on the motorway.

I just can't seem to find any aftermarket exhausts but watching videos the is seems to sound good and keeps it almost stockso hopefully I'll be able to get one soon :)

Eisenmann do two stainless exhausts, street and race, 2nd to none build quality, lifetime guarantee, have a look on YouTube. Very minty price but you get what you pay for.

I’ll second what John e89 is saying about eisenmann, I recently put a race eisenmann on my 3.5i ..... I absolutely love it . As John says , look up the eisenmann YouTube for the 3.5i ( there are a few )
Alternative is , if you’re coming to the ace cafe on September 21 you can have a look at mine , it might give you an opinion either way as to if it’s for you

Hey nice move Dave...!! Amy drone on the motorway etc,?

Hi john
I personally don’t think it’s giving enough drone for me to worry about, others may feel different about it . I’m certainly not regretting having it put on though. And I know, when I took the eisenmann back box off the merlot e85 before I sold it , I was really missing the sound by the time I part ex,d the car. all this talk about re maps is making me twitchy again, I’d forgotten all about the idea for a while

Do it do it do it

Tempted by a race exhaust system myself. Anyone know if the Milltek is more Eisenmann sport or race sound levels?

I'm just checking with the site admin if I can publish a group deal for Eisenmann exhausts....

Why would a Milltek or Eisenmann exhaust be better than a fully sleeved 35i OEM system, surely there can not be that much difference in sound if the OEM system is sleeved so that it is basically straight through?

Was in touch with Celtic today actually , still very nervous about the whole thing, but the idea of more grin factor is soooo appealing 🏎💨💨💤💤
