Z4 3.0si Sport Coupe - Monaco Blue - 60k miles

Lovely looking car. Nice advert and good pics. I’m sure this will draw lots of interest. Good luck with the sale.

wow that really does look incredible for 60k

Z4s don't wear that will on the interiors especially the steering wheel and is a great sign for a buyer.

GLWTS

Getting harder & harder to find sub 70k Si coupes so something of a rarity with the monaco paint too , for the current Si E86 market id say underpriced

Thanks all!

I should just mention, if the car I am really after is sold before this I will be keeping it.

In fact, I might be making a mistake letting it go anyway.

I went out for a bit of a drive last night and got a mate to take it for a spin who has owned a couple of these and a Z4M and he said it was the nicest riding Z4 he has driven.

We both agreed that a B4 damper on the rear could really sort it out nicely without losing the overall feel it has at the moment.
Then obviously moved onto thinking that the B12 or B16 kit could actually work, or maybe even the KW3 kit.

He has a rather lovely Mini Cooper GP, what a cracking bit of kit that is. Rare as rocking horse poo and only got a few thousand miles on it. Never got them until I drove his last night. Really, really impressed.

Can you tell I'm torn what to do?

I'm the former owner... It is a great car in terrific nick with genuine low mileage. Whoever buys it won't be disappointed.

Mk1?

I used to have one hence my username, best car I’ve owned, properly regret selling it!!

I get that, completely. :D

:D

I'm going to take it into London tomorrow.

When I get back to Norfolk, if I still want to take the last 20 miles via twisty B roads instead of A11 after driving there, 3 hour meeting and driving back, it will probably make me decide what I really want to do.

Certainly is a fantastic looking car - who would blame the seller for not following through on the previously agreed sale and not selling to the prospective buyer who very recently offered 9k. Not every buyer would be so understanding though, having travelled, invested time in any due diligence type work, etc...
It doesnt sound like you really want to let it go and that might deter buyers and perhaps a keener price as well. Anyway,GLWTS

The reality is I don't want to sell it.

The other buyer didn't get to the point where he had travelled or anything. It was all done over emails/phone.
I wouldn't have done that to someone!
He might have got here and decided it was not for him anyway.

The Alpina I wanted the buyer was keeping, now listing it again as something he wanted came back on the market.

I guess at the mo, if it goes I will be gutted, but it will put me into something I have wanted for a while now that has just come onto the market. But thinking out loud about what to do next if that doesn't happen.

Must be covid but I'm sick of "I don't really want to sell" for sale ads.

Don't list it then!!!!

As I said, an Alpina has come up that I really, really want.

I don't really want to sell this but I don't have the money or the garage space to have both, hence I will let this go to get the Alpina. If the Alpina sells I will keep the Z.

Let me know if that is OK with you?

The problem with these sort of cars, is it is like a property chain.
We are not talking about a run of the mill car where there are 100s to chose from.
This Alpina is one of one, colour and spec. wise in the UK.
I also don't have the cash at the mo to simply buy it without selling this.

I also know that if I sell this I won't get another one like it for the money. Hence I do wonder if I might regret it, but you can only try.

You mentioned liking the R53 GP, I currently have an R53 JCW which is a great little car but I've always had an itch for an E86 and yours looks great (albeit black leather not my preference). If you're interested drop me a message and maybe we can work something out. Hyper blue, 62K miles with full Recaro leather.

Hi mate,

Thanks for that, but the only car I would swap this for is the Alpina that has come on the market.

Cheers,

G

Deceptively fast.

New owner can you DM me details of who was driving the thing at 16:38 on 30th July?
