OK – I wasn’t expecting quite such a focus on brake pipes through several years of MOT’s, but to help clarify, as prior posts referencing dates since 2016 appear to have missed a fundamental point… so, as noted in my original post:-

New DSC Yaw sensor, rear main brake pipes replaced (fabricated in copper), new front brake reaction bushes, replaced coil pack and replaced drivers door membrane – all done Jun21 @72.2k

So, hopefully any potential buyer can be assured that all is in order, rear brake pipes replaced less than 5k miles ago, the mechanic said they’d last the life of the car being in copper and have passed an independent check via way of an MOT.

In case helpful, a copy of the invoice of all those works completed at the time… not an insignificant spend, but all part of ongoing maintenance.

A perfect explanation to answer the question.
Someone please take this beauty off Paul's hands, it looks a cracking car.

It looks great.

I wish I wanted a coupe more than a convertible as this example looks excellent.

If you want to pay silly money for what is potentially a stunning convertible.... here's what I stumbled upon earlier...

Hmmmm

Terrible wheels.

Lovely colour leather.

Not sold on dash.

Low miles perhaps but not worth the price IMHO.

Pay half of that with double the miles and enjoy!

That dealer usually has good stock, but always expects buyers to pay for it!

Not great wheels.

Strange choice of leather colour.

Awful dash.

You could get better for the money.

Anyway back on topic without wanting to seem critical I can't help thinking the OP is being optimistic with his price, which may explain why it is still for sale!

I bought my Montego Blue Coupe with Pearl Grey and Cirrus aluminium trim and decent 108s on 76K in 2016 for £8,600.

When I sold it on 91K in February 2020 I got more than £2K less. Admittedly timing was all wrong, but it had to go as I'd bought my MC.

As a rough comparison and I appreciate it’s difficult without seeing each car in the flesh. There is a Montego blue Coupe on Auto trader with 69,000 miles at £9990 which has been for sale for a little while, so the car needs to start under £10,000 in the current market it would likely shift quickly at £8990
