This looks like a good buy for someone looking for a 3L si

So an Si SE is exactly the same as an Si sport but with higher & softer suspension?
Nice colour combo, although I want a manual, can’t stand the push/pull paddles, counter intuitive imho.

M-sports seats and different trim too.

Wouldn't pay much attention to what it says on logbook , many of the later cars were sport spec but down as Se , i had one for a time .
From first glance that looks good value to me , lovely colour combo , fairly specced , plenty of history & hardly scary mileage at 100k .
Cheap summer Si motoring :driving:

I agree. If I was on the lookout for one I would certainly go and see this. Auto box would not be a put off for me either. My last E85 was an auto and was great (especially in sport mode…….)

It’s not just the auto box, it’s the paddles being all wrong for me. The push pull on either side is just wrong, I’ve tried this on several BMWs and I kept shifting the wrong way. Same in the early 35iS until about 2014. Everybody knows pull left to downshift, pull right to upshift.

That’s easy enough to change to be honest. It’s just a case of moving some of the pins in the paddles.

But once you get used to the current way it is it’s not too bad. I have them in my 330i but I hardly use them to be honest.

I prefer the old push and pull method… more logical and and you don’t get confused when the wheel is turned.

Now that is interesting please enlighten me as I would rather it was left for down and right for up .

Personally think it looks like a nice buy, autos will always divide opinion, but it’s a great colour combo with a great engine

It's a great colour combination and is probably a Sport as it has the M-Sport seats and steering wheel, which are probably the best bits of the Sport package!

There aren't too many 3.0Sis around so it has to be worth a look for anyone who doesn't mind an Auto.
