For sale 2006 z4 3.0si in silver with 95k miles 1 years mot no advisories.
I have owned the car for 13 months and was hoping too keep the car for a few years but being made redundant so something has to go.

Car has blue m sport heated seats in great condition all electrics work perfectly on the seats.

Oem original wind deflector which is a must in a convertible

Parking sensors
Most important I have just refreshed the entire suspension
Sachs front top mounts
Lemforder rear top mounts
Black series polybushed rtarb
Polybushed front anti roll bar bushes
Medlye HD drop links front and rear
Medlye HD control arms
Medlye HD lollipops
Bilstein b12 kit
I have just fitted michelin pilot sport 4 tyres which has covered 300 miles since fitting in a 255 rear 225 front.
Car was set up by bitz motorsport too 1.3drgrees camber all round.
Stubby ariel which looks great
Gloss black kidney grills
Momo gear knob which has a good weight too it

MANN air filter
Pagid brake pads
Ngk iridium spark plugs.
Oil changed in December
Gearbox oil done in December

Exhaust wise it's had a back box delete so sounds pretty throaty with all the usual pops and bangs.

Roof in perfect working order timed it takes 9 seconds fully down too fully up and is controlled in the key where it can remotely put down.

Car is located in Inverness so potentially meet further down around Perth if required.

What's people's thoughts on this advert. Do I need better pictures, more info, price to high etc just want to get it right before I advertise elsewhere

I would say take a full set of new pictures, simple, decent lighting, seat bolster wear
Not Road trip pictures, pictures of someone on the lawn with your Zed in the corner, grainy screenshots of a dark warehouse

Clearly a lot going for it but not being shown to its best .
Advert wording needs a de-clutter , pics need a fresh start & be prepared for a lengthy sale as recent months have proved tough shifting both Se & Si cars for no apparent reason

Seats look black but you’ve mentioned they’re blue - so a nice bright interior shot will help 👍🏼

Thanks for the replies chaps. Yea they do look black. Going to get some new photos this weekend as use say probably some without a nerf being thrown about.

Im all my years of selling my cars only 1 has ever sold quick so I'm prepared for a few months

Haha fair point, on the outside looking at this advert pictures they are howling

I'd echo the comments on the picture quality...plus they could have come from any time in it's history. Needs some recent, consistent photos. Should be easy in this weather.

Also, I know being that far north reduces interest a lot, and I remember paying about £2k less than the going rate for an e34 M5 (in great condition) just because it was in Inverness, and no-one could be bothered to go and view it. i think I got the same money back on it 4 years/80,000 miles later.

Also, (and it might just be me) does the car look VERY low at the rear?

My MC is on B16s (and 265/40r18 rears) and about an inch lower at the rear, but there's still daylight between the tyre & arch, with a nice, even, equal gap around the tyre. I wouldn't want it any lower as a daily driver!

Fwiw i can only imagine your location was the hurdle for why the car remained unsold :? looked well worth your ask if not a little more & i did post the link on recently to a friend after a Si , he was very keen but the distance did put him off ( wouldn't me but we aren't all the same eh )

Thanks for the recommendation for it. I'm delighted I get to keep it, all the money I put into it would be sad to let it go

Car back up for sale. Needing sold by mid April so offers welcome
I'd agree that details of documented service history would be helpful. Also, worth remembering that due to your location virtually no one is going to travel just to view it - effectively you'll have to sell it by the advert alone.
So, detailed photos of: all four wheels showing any rim damage and make of tyres; interior confirming seat colour and showing condition of seat bolsters; other equipment like MFSW, cruise, auto lights etc; exhaust tips; engine bay; service book entries, etc etc...
I am interested in your car and travelling to, say, Perth or Edinburgh would be acceptable if I felt the car warranted the trip. For me I'd need at least the above points addressing first, but sadly I'm put off by some of the work you've done: a back box delete is too far for me, probably great blasting round the highlands but not for a car that lives in the city - do you still have the standard box for refitting? Similarly, the car is sitting too low to deal with the state of the potholed roads and speedbumps round my area - is the suspension kit you've fitted adjustable/reversible to deal with this; did you keep the OE suspension bits for potential refitting?
If you don't have the bits I'll have to factor in the costs when coming up with an offer.

Cheers.
