Z4 3.0i ( 03 ) 29600 miles

Thinking of selling my zed - mainly because I don't really use it ( 500 miles in the year I've had it ) and because of my continuing back problem its getting more difficult to get in and out of. I bought it last July from a Citreon main dealer in Fareham. Spent quite a bit on getting it up to my standard ie Front bumper resprayed because of stonechips - all dints removed by Paintless Dent Removal , detailing etc. The car is original and unmodded. The interior . boot and under the bonnet are completely unmarked as is the exterior - the service stamps are sequential starting with BMW and with the last two services done by independent sportscar specialists including an Inspection 1. It had a full oil service last year ( about 300 miles ago ) and a brake fluid change - the next oil service is due in 7950miles. I've all but one of the old MOT's and have printed off all of the old MOT history from the DVLC site to verify the milage of 29600 miles. It had two new rear tyres when I bought it and I've just had two new front tyres fitted ( all Continental Contact RFT's ) The alloys were all refurbished and are completely unmarked. Its also taxed till end of March 2013. Hood works perfectly ( car kept in garage ) All the usual 3.0i spec excluding rear parking sensors. The only fault is the tilt in the passenger seat whirls but doesn't work - moves ok forward, backwards up and down - should be an easy fix if you're that bothered. A/C , heated seats , windows etc absolutely fine.MOT due in July but obviously I would renew it on purchase. Other than the passenger seat tilt there is nothing that needs doing and is probably one of a very few genuine really low milage cars available at the moment for an earlier 03 reg car. I do have my own number plate that I intend to keep. I'm looking for £7400. A few pictures below:

The bad news is that I live in a village about 4 miles out of Cowes on the Isle of Wight but would be happy to meet anyone interested off the Red Funnel Catamaran at West Cowes.

Anyone that might be interested please PM me.

Good price for the mileage, I'll have a chat with the old man about it. One of my requirements were parking sensors (for him mainly so he doesn't wreck it) and cruise control for the longer journeys.

Know what you mean about rear sensors - with the size of the bonnet front sensors would be just as useful ! Had cruise control in a previous car - TBH found it a bit overated. Mine is a good price when you consider up close it looks virtually new , its got 4 new tyres ( £600+ ) Serviced only 300 miles ago and nearly 12 months tax and will have a new MOT. Truthfully though I wouldn't be that bothered if I don't sell it - my back problem is really getting me down but hopefully it will get sorted out in time and I can enjoy the car more.

Cruise control is an easy retro fit for less than £75 :)

Dont let it put you off. Good car, very good price

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know cruise could be retro fitted!

A bit relieved in a way that I've had no real interest shown in my car - there has been a bit of an improvement in my back problem so I'm hoping (touch wood) that this improvement is going to continue - so I'll be able to get out more in the zed. Regarding selling it doesn't help being here on the IOW - when I was selling my previous Elan I advertised it on Pistonheads and the Lotus Forum for 6 weeks with no responses at all then advertised it locally and had 3 immediate enquiries with the first one to view buying it on the spot at the full asking price. I think its time to enjoy the car - if I do decide to sell in the future I'll stick to the local rag.Next week sun is forecast wahoooooooo!
