Selling my lovely 2003 (53) Sterling Grey Roadster. Spec as follows:

90K miles
2 owners
Full service history (BMW from new to 2013 then independent for last 2)
MOT until Aug 2018
2 new rear tyres fitted after last MOT
Front tyres at 4 - 5 mm
Electric memory seats with heating
Electric retracting mirrors
Xenons
Sat Nav
BBS 107 Wheels refurbed in Oct 2015
Diamond Brite applied Nov 15
Sports button selector
SMG gearbox

My car is in excellent condition and totally standard other than factory options (except Aux input added to standard BMW prof nav) with no noticeable wear on the seat bolsters. Only points to note:

Slight scrape on NSR alloy (paint damage only)
As usual a few scrapes under front valance

The car drives so smoothly and the SMG gearbox is a dream on this 3.0 engine.

I live on the coast in West Sussex, no real rush to sell the car, we have just purchased an S5 Convertible so we can take the kids out, was getting risky leaving them at home alone all the time!!

I have taken the private plate off and DVLA allocated a new number. I still have the original it was registered with FOC with the sale if you want it to retain history.

Hello All would appreciate some input as to why I have no enquiries for my Z4. Is it just price or something unclear in the detail? Or maybe people are worried about SMG??
It is such a good car I want it to go to an enthusiast hence advertising on here. Mind you on the plus side I still get to drive it now and then!

Could be a number of factors - top one would have been the price (I see you dropped it now), you may have to come down a little more to get a bite. The photos aren't very good tbh, better ones included as attachments in the advert may help (including close ups of the scrapes)
Having said all that there are several roadsters up for sale at the moment and they aren't shifting either - could be time of year
 
Its coming up for Christmas. Never a good time to sell what is a specialist car for the enthusiast I am afraid.

Also bear in mind most forum members already have a Z4 anyway and join to tap the information of others, and meet like minded folk. Not to buy another car. This means selling on a forum such as this one gives you a limited market. Needs to go on Autotrader, FridayAd, ebay, etc., to get to people who are actually looking to buy something.

I got a 2.5 auto a year ago, but was looking for a 3.0 SMG - shame, yours would have been ideal!
 
I looked at your advert and to be honest as has been pointed out, it’s the lack of decent pictures that are easily accessible.
Looking from an iPhone which I’m sure a lot of people are, viewing the poor pictures is a pain at best.
I’m sure it’s a nice motor, but pictures are a major part of selling your car.
Good luck anyway.

Looks a great example 3.0 for very little money considering its only done 90k & with half decent spec .
As said some better pics attached directly would help the sale greatly

I’m using a iPhone and is very easy.
When you’ve inserted your post written part, tap on add files, select photos from your photo library and submit.
Seems to work for me.
 
This looks like a great cheap way into z4 ownership.

Prices seem to have dropped recently on all Z4's excluding the M's and Alpinas which surprised me. They are great cars for the money.

I did PM you about the car and never got a response (I've since located one elsewhere), I presume you just haven't checked your messages but might be worth doing in case others are chasing you down and not getting a reply.
