Hhmmm :?
I know values & demand have been strong the past 12 months for Si coupes but you have to play fair
A mint 94k at £9450 might look acceptable to some but one with a list of "to do's" you have highlighted could make it a hard sell

I understand the price may be a little cheeky and I am fully expecting to be knocked down for the "To do's" however the price is based from what I have seen up for sale / sold. Any help with valuing the car through a private message would be greatly appreciated.

Only pointers i can give are to sort the issues & return with the car as good as you can present then the ask would seem on par with current market values , not doing so will no doubt cost you more than the actual .
Sounds like £400-£500 would go a long way to fixing the faults but a buyer will most likely see that as £1000 .
I would also be adding a brief highlight of service history over the 94k & pics/description of the interior , looks like champagne which goes great with montego so why not emphasise the combination .

The standard leather was Oregon leather, Champagne only came as Nappa leather leather which is softer and was an option. But looking at your other photos on imgur it looks like you have the pretty rare extended Nappa leather, which was a dearer option still!

So I'd definitely add couple of photos of the interior on here!

It might also be worth starting a separate thread to see if there is anyone near you who can delete "Transport" mode for you.

Anyway GLWTS. Montego Blue is a great colour.

Thanks for your comment, I will grab some more photographs of the interior soon and add them here. I will do that, hopefully someone local is around to do this.

Cheers

Wow what a looker must have a good looking owner any man/women would be lucky to own this bad boy machine. Everything about it leaks sex appeal man its getting me going just looking at it. In my professional opinion in the current climate it is probably worth around 10k with inflation and income tax levels.

I was more interested in what qualifies for the “professional opinion”, dealer/auctioneer/bodywork specialist?? Also curious what income tax levels have to do with it, a prospective buyer may pay zero income tax.

I wonder if it's Rishi Sunak on the sauce at 10am. I wouldn't blame him if he is after the year he's had :D

100%

FWIW I think it is fairly priced assuming there is a bit of wiggle room - you see quite a few grey on black or black on black Z4s for sale, so if you are looking for this combination you have to pay a premium.

I see that a similar one was listed for £11,000 and went very quickly, but was on 80,000 odd miles.

I think it's always worth getting the bodywork done before selling. Most people will accept wear and tear (swirls, the odd scratch), corrosion around centre caps. But actual 'damage' like that ding will put people off. I reckon a dent guy and a smart repair guy could sort that front wing out for a couple hundred quid, whereas a buyer may think the worst and assume a proper repair, bodyshop costs of £1000 or whatever.

Thanks for the few constructive comments, the car is out of transport mode and the body work will be sorted this week. I didn’t mind being knocked down a few bob for the work that needed to be done.... however, like I say the work on the car will be done.

Will be re listing this on a new post at the end of the week.

Good work mate - this is an excellent forum, and you will always get the critical eye from people that know these cars best! What I would say is that to the right buyer it's a fairly uncommon spec, so don't expect to be chiseled down too much!

EDIT: Just to put the above in perspective (and something you might want to highlight in the advert), of the 2189 Z4 Coupe's sold in the UK, only 336 were sold in Montego Blue. Of those 336, only 45 were specced with the Champagne leather. Of those 45, only 13 had the aluminium dash (the rest were Piano black and one person who ordered it with fine wood trim).

Second EDIT: The above figures are for the standard champagne leather. If it's the extended leather, then it's one of 7 in that combination, 3 of which had aluminium trim
