Z4 3.0 si Coupe E86 OR Z4M Manual Wanted

I see that it failed it's MOT in 2016 due to "Nearside Front Headlamp aim too high (1.8)"...could this be the result of a knock? I'm sure the more knowledgeable members would know if this is normal...

Could also be that the bulb was replaced, but not correctly!

Again, not mine but this popped up yesterday afternoon - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201803094408217?radius=1500&year-to=2009&transmission=Manual&model=Z4&minimum-badge-engine-size=3.0&make=BMW&postcode=ne209hw&maximum-mileage=70000&year-from=2006&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=price-asc&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&page=2#

That's a fine looking example , shame it has a spec to match the miles

Seller has covered virtually everything that came as standard barring carpets :D & missed off cruise + cup holders

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201803094408217#desc

Had noticed this one a few days ago, but until today, the pics were not on the web-site or autotrader. Sent an e-mail to the dealer yesterday and they sent me the pics.
What do you mean about the spec? 'Shame it has a spec to match the miles'. Does this mean it is good or poverty spec? Not bothered about cruise. Sounds OK to me.
Can someone also confirm that the service history is as expected? Looks like its a bit 'bare' for the car. Am I right in saying that there is officially 2 year service intervals? Even with that it looks a bit poor / minimal. Do most owners get them officially serviced and stamped every 2 years, and oils, filters service every year to keep everything sweet? Is this the norm?
Thanks

I was on the phone to the garage a few times yesterday, turns out it's a Mazda dealer and the chap traded it in for an MX-5 RF, I'm going the other way, I'm coming from an MX-5!

They told me that I was the first person to enter negotiations, they would let it go for £12,300 serviced & 3 month warranty, or £12,000 as is and that there's 4 other interested parties. If it had heated seats and bi-xenons, it would be mine!!

Self plug for my 3.0Si Sport that's still available https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=103976

I am aware of your car, but unfortunately has probably the only interior I wouldn't be OK with.

Thanks for the link and good luck with the sale. I'm sure it wont be long until it sells with spring and summer around the corner.

No worries, hope you find the one you are looking for, they are great cars!

Good to know. Thought is was actually quite cheap for the excellent condition, and low mileage. I suppose this would have been at least another grand with the correct options and maybe a few remedial / preventative bits done.

Do you know if it has had any work done and what tyres its on? Might be low miles but if its had no work done, could be some bills on the way for the age of the car.

It must have had new rear springs as they had snapped according to its MOT history.
Tyre-wise it was on Michelin's.
The MV2 wheels were missing the 'M' badge, I queried it thinking they are replicas or refurbed and the garage confirmed the latter.
I wish it had a couple of extra goodies and I would have took the plunge

Just had an email from the dealer saying that this is now sold. Also been taken off auto trader.

Mine will be coming up for sale imminently...

56 plate 3.0Si - Montego Blue
66K miles - just had Insp II at local specialist - 15K to next service
Every extra apart from Hi-Fi upgrade!

Had planned on putting an ad together in the next few days, but can send you more details via PM if you like.

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks for the link. I am aware of this one, but grey with the black is exactly the same colour and interior as my last car, which I had for nearly 4 years so looking for a change. Probably right at the top end of what I'm looking for mileage wise.

PRMG, are you still looking yourself? I noticed you have been searching for a couple of months or so now?

I have now put a deposit on status's car and should be picking the car up ASAP. Definitely couldn't have bought a more individual colour car. Really looking forward to driving the car home (weather permitting).

Thanks to everyone who has added potential car's and links up in my search.

I willl definitely put some photos up when I get it home and will be putting plenty more posts on the forum now I'm an owner.
