Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

It seems every Tiefgrun Coupe is an SE with beige seats and wood trim! No heated seats or cruise either so I suspect the spec is likely to be fairly basic.

But if you can live with Cat C I suppose it's a cheap E86.

Stick some nice Gold wheels on it and you might win the photo competition.

Spotted this on Gumtree. It's a rare colour but the asking price seems a bit on the side? I was thinking of going to have a look but it's a couple of hours away from me.

It is my old car. The original green machine v1.0.
I’ll dig up the thread with the damage when I bought it from Copart.

In that case I'd be far less bothered about the Cat C marker!

Next owner hasn't had it long then. :o

That’ll be the second owner after me!
Unless removed (which I doubt) it’s got a full Bilstein suspension setup underneath that I fitted. The only downside is a dent in the roof. I asked a couple of PDR guys but they won’t do it as it’s on the seem.

One of only 95 coupes worldwide and 22 in the UK in Deep Green metallic - this was listed on Autotrader last night by it's owner for the last 9 years and sold on the same day.

Guess the market is always strong for the right car

What do we think of this one https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202505222702135?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios-app? Lowest mileage manual available on AT. Seems to have been on there a year, wonder why it’s not selling - price and location prohibitive perhaps? MOT history looks very clean although it’s currently without one.
If it hasn't sold over that long a period then it's too expensive imo. Lack of detail in the advert over what maintenance has been done. Looks a good one though.

Yeah, great combination of Carbon Black and Red.

Its had heated seats retro fitted, I've never seen that before but it looks a tidy install.
No parking sensors (a good thing IMHO), no MFSW, pass airbag switch or cruise, and unsure if it has xenons or not as I cannot quite make out the buttons on the dash.

No mention of servicing or history.
MOT history is fine but it did expire Sep 2025.
A Coupe left outside, cover or not may turn some away, especially ones looking for mint examples at top money.

Taking all that into account, it still looks great to me, if many £££.

Just ran a basic check on it, it’s SORN - probably has been since that MOT expired. I was thinking about calling to try and get some pics of the service history, but with no tax or MOT it’s not test-drive able sadly. Would be a right pain trying organise that stuff when it’s ~5h away

Ahh yes, makes sense.
That makes things a little tricky..
The car might just be SORN throughout winter though so the owner might be looking to get it back on the road soon enough to enjoy the Spring and Summer months.

It doesn't look like it has a single option fitted, although that looks like a neat heated seat installation.

I can't help thinking it's expensive when I paid £9,600 for my Ruby Black with Pearl Grey one in 2014 on 54K miles with FBMWSH!

But I suppose now they are approaching 20 years old there can't be many left with just 51K recorded miles so it will appeal to anyone desperate for a low-miler, although knowing how bulletproof the N52 engines are I'd save a few grand and find a higher spec one with higher mileage to avoid depreciation for using it.
