Greens the best colour for a Coupe!
I'm not sure if I'm showing my ignorance here, but why has he got a silver engine cover?AlphaEchoAlpha said:Not sure if it's been mentioned in here, but what do people make of this... It's really quite local to me, but wonder what the consensus is on the price?

It looks like a good example and has done very few miles, but if you start to use it the value is going to plummet!
And personally I wouldn't spend that sort of money on a 3.0Si. I got my M Coupe in that sort of budget, even if it has done some more miles.
It has a silver cover on the engine because it's an early model with the N52 engine rather than the N52k that they started using around September 2006 which had a black cover. There are various small technical differences but both make the same power and having had one of each I couldn't detect any difference in how they drove.
AlphaEchoAlpha said:Thanks for the replies, I agree it would be a shame to actually use it. My first thought too was that "hey, you'd get a decent enough Z4M for that money"... I'd clocked the earlier engine, too.

That's the problem with very low mileage examples. For a car to use something with 60 or 70K £thousands cheaper would make more sense.
Apologies for the engine reference - that was more for "Z4C_er" really!

Fingers crossed - going to get it on the ramp today, service it and do the top mounts. Really pleased so far!
