Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

I think its the COVID times (less folk moving about in Scotland) and that the cars up here too. Back when i got it i was lucky got it from Glasgow but literally the only one within 300 miles at the time for sale. What colour/combo did you get?

I went Liverpool and got a VX220. I had always fancied one (and also cant afford an Elise as they are no longer £9k like a few years ago..) I commute A lot shorter on the bus/tram now so i can (Just about) afford to go without the heated seats/cruise etc. Obviously the steering feel is a lot more direct etc and its 400kg lighter so its a significantly different drive.

Gear change isn’t as good as the Z though, and its nowhere near as pretty/classy either in that respect. It also leaks  .

Heavily biased but I still dont think there is a better car out there for the money than a Z4C at the moment. I took it out a few weeks back having rarely been it myself over the last few months and it still magic to drive the B roads. Had i not wanted a VX/Lotus forever then i would got a Black/blue //M coupe i think.

About as rare as the come. Green coupe! Shame about the wood trim. :o

Yea not a fan of the green on it at all.

Me neither - and I don't like the colour of the seats or the wood. Or the fact it's way over=priced for an SE!

OK otherwise.

Definitely over priced for a SE.

£7k would be more like it and I still think the colour will hold back a sale

I like the colour to be honest. I’m curious about the wheels though - most “modders” would buy an si in the first place, or fit the m sport seats

You mean they would have bought a Sport - all the 3 litre Coupes have the si engine.

And have you seen what M-Sport seats fetch? Plus you might struggle to find any in that colour!

Yea it would be a boring world if we all liked the same.

Wonder if the OEM wheels that came with the car were way past theyre best.

What colour Z do you have?

I’ve got a Montego blue. I love it, but I like the green as it’s a bit different. You might see a black, blue or silver. Maybe even a hellrot red. But how many green? Something quite cool about that

This is like the Z4 version of the ‘shag-uar’ from Austin powers

Is there an accepted price differential between SE and Sport models of the 3.0 Si Coupe? Or is condition, history etc. more important?

Its all about the actual spec of each individual car for me & Se ones can come specced with sport options .
A Se with 18s , Msport seats & mfsw would be valued as a sport but without those id want the difference to reflect the cost of upgrading them & that's at least £1k :( others may see it differently .
Headlining colour & springs are the only other options different between Se & sport , engine power & factory spec are the same .

Didn't know the headlining colour was different.

Another green machine! SE spec this time, no heated seats.

Anyone any idea what colour the leather is? Is it the usual light colours that had just not been looked after or an alternative?

Agreed, although it's very rare to get the M mfsw in an SE as it's one of very few things that wasn't an option. Can't imagine too many have had one retrofitted.

I understand the option of the roadster being an SE or a Sport because the enjoyment of a roadster can come in different forms to different people. Whereas, being a 2 seat coupe with 260 bhp, I've always thought of it as a driver focused sports car and so I find the SE option somewhat of a strange one. I think this is part of what affects the SE value as well as the missing goodies. Who actually wants that?

I wasn't meaning specifically the M version of the steering wheel , more a mfsw as opposed to just the base wheel with no controls so as pic
