No drop until the wheels are changed  i spoke to someone who viewed the car & the fronts have chaffed right through the arch liners so most likely 8.5j et 38 / 40 on 235 35 tyres
I quite like the wheels but i think in this case they are limiting thesellers marketplace & a switch to a fresh set of Mv2s or 108s would most likely see the car gone at £8250 / £8450 ? If all was well on viewing & with paperwork

I went to have a view of that car,

It is quite nice in person. The wheels arent as blue tingy in real life, It had a very loud HVA noise on start up which went away once warmed up. I imagine as its been sitting for so long and only been on short test drives.

The car was a forum members car and has had some front end damage done in the past. Photos of it are on here somewhere. Whoever done the repair done a cracking job though. I knew there was damage before going to look at the car, So soon as i tipped up I went straight to look at the front left corner and could not find a single thing. Paint match on front bumper/bonnet/wing seemed perfect. Although it was a bit overcast so a bright sunny day may show something different.

Car drove nice but does pull a bit on the 19's, Cant remember the tyre size but they were a bit off IIRC.

Has heated seats.

The car was previously very low as i found old pictures of it, Possibly eibachs. Someone has obviously changed the springs back and i think put SE springs on hence the silly height on 19's.

Couldnt really find much else wrong with it, The HVA noise was what mainly put me off, Also the roof has been sprayed black which I was not too keen on and little paperwork with it so i decided to look for better elsewhere. I do like montego blue though, Even more so than my monaco blue coupe but cant have everything.

Hi guys,
I've been thinking of selling my 07 3.0se coupe for a while as I need something a bit more practical. It's done 46k full service history, silver, cls wheels, aluminium dash. new discs, pads, inspection 2 at BMW black m seats intravee, premium audio, cargo net in boot, muitfunctional steering wheel, new headlight and fog light (condensation) Xenon headlamps, new headlight washers, ebiach springs, as rear spring broke, Bluetooth, new front and rear tyres, diff and gearbox oil changed. no common faults HVA, wipers etc. Their is nothing to do for many years to come. What do you think would be top price? (I live in London)

Car sounds very nicely kept & the M seats , Eibachs + alloys should help offset any Se negatives :)
Not the best time to sell but you only ever need 1 buyer
Throw up some pics but from the above my hunch would be £9k - £10k :? 10% either way

I paid (quite a bit) more than that for mine - I think it depends how long you mind holding onto it for. If it's the perfect z for someone (as mine was for me) they are more likely to "overpay" to get it. However, those at top prices are likely to sit on the market for a while as people are attracted to the cheaper cars.

Without revealing the exact figure ( if you didn't want to ) you should at least highlight the miles, year , spec etc & a rough figure to give some focus to others looking to either buy or sell as it indicates on what some cars actually sell for & what some buyers are actually prepared to pay

2007 - 55k miles, manual sport. Very good condition. Red leather interior. CSLs with pilot super sports. Xenon's, cruise, heated seats, automatic lights and wipers. FSH with some receipts. Bought from a trader. 3 owners I think. Mine was listed at £12.5k

Good news for current owners of similar cars  you should always expect a 10% mark up from a dealer to cover prep + warranty but if its the car you wanted & happy with it then there are no losers

There aren't many similar cats to a z4c for that kind of money which helps with the pricing. I was happy to pay a big markup over a roadster as there are many similar cars to the roadster

I agree. I paid more for mine than posts in this thread indicate. But I was fussy on spec, condition, history etc.
If you want a Z4C then prices in this thread are probably right, but if you want the Z4C be prepared to pay a bit more or have a long wait until you hit lucky.

Before anyone asks, 2007, 69K, dealer, £10500 plus £500ish sorting various minor issues.

Your own words confirm a high price doesn't always guarantee a faultfree car no matter who the seller is :( & many times a cheaper car may even be a better buy :?
Its the buyer who has to stand on his toes & work out whether the car in front of him is worth the money he is about to part with & once done get on with it

Interesting!

Given that there were less than 2,000 Z4Cs built to UK "Sport" spec (based on the numbers Taz posted) if you really want a specific colour combination, specification and/or combination of both then patience has to be the name of the game.

I do agree with this, but it's very much spec dependant for me. Of course would have to have full service history, and probably wouldn't go over the 100k mileage mark...
I wouldn't be so worried about any work doing/maintenance issues etc (unless it has some sort of major inherent fault). That can all be seen to, it will always come with wear and tear. You might even be better off with a cheaper one which required work, as you'd end up certain of at least some components as they'd be new. While if you bought a more expensive one, it wouldn't guarantee that those exact same issues wouldn't arise and you'd end up spending even more.

Thanks for the reply. I know this has been discussed many times, but what is the difference between the se and the sport is it more stuff as standard, the only real difference is it has m tec steering wheel and suspension?

the biggest difference is the sports seats which were optional on the SE but standard on the sport

All this plus the Sport models came with a dark (anthracite) roof headliner. As mentioned a few times on here though, all of the Sport goodies were options, so you can find SE's with partial or full Sport spec, depending on what the original owner specced.
